Stuck away from home on business, all Ryan can do is talk with his lover Scott on the phone. But the conservative Ryan finds no comfort in phone sex--he's far too embarrassed. Fortunately, his playful lover has not only planned ahead, but he can think on his back as well. It turns out that the heart really is where good sex starts!

I won this book free from Amy Lane through Chris’ giveaway – so thank you to both of them for that! I entered the contest because of the author, who I’ve so far loved everything she’s written. So it was a pleasant surprise to realize this is story is a sequel to the really great story Shirt from the Curious Anthology. You don’t need to read the previous story – this stands alone just fine – but you can if you’re curious how Ryan and Scott met. It’s a great revisit to characters that are...more

I really adore this couple. This is one series i've read out of order and everything still made sense.
I first met Ryan and Scott in Puppy, Car, and Snow, which is the third book that was absolutely awesome. Insta-love has never been my thing, but you try telling Scotty you don't believe in it.

Also read Curious?: A Woman's Introduction to Gay Romance, which has the first short on how Ryan & Scott met.

This one has Ryan on a business trip a day before his birthday and they're both feeling the s...more

Fun'n'steamy m/m romance short about a guy on a business trip who calls his boyfriend, but is too embarrassed to have phone sex... directly, at least.

This is a sequel of a story called "Shirt" in Curious?: A Woman's Introduction to Gay Romance. I must take a note for that story, by the way, it WAS AMAZINGLY HOT!!! Probably HOTTER than anything of Amy Lane I have read before.

Somehow, I miss this one. And since I realized that Puppy, Car, and Snow is the 3rd in the Ryan & Scott stories, I backtracked this one first before I am catching up with that one. This story is still HOT. It involves a not-really phone sex, and well, some cre...more

This is a continuation of the story from the Curious anthology, but you can read it as a stand-alone. Ryan has to go on a business trip on his birthday. He's not impressed and Scott less so as he had plans. They are talking on the phone for hours and they've tried phone sex before and it ended up a bust. However Scott sent along some toys for Ryan and they decide Scott should read to him, the only thing they have that fits the bill is the phone book. There is lots of humour as they use innuendo...more

A very cute little short story about a couple separated by a business trip. While on the trip they try to have a little phone-sex. Hilarity ensues. I laughed out loud several times. It's totally cheesy in places, awkward as all get out in others, and a bit hot. I kinda wish this was a longer story, because I loved the MC's.

Anyway, def. a cute little read if you are up for some silly/sweetness.

This is the story of Ryan and Scott. Actually this is the second story of Ryan & Scott. The first can be found in the Curious Anthology and it's called Shirt.

Unlike some of the other shorts, you really do get a good sense of these guys. they have a charming relationship where they have both clearly grown since the beginning. And even though I saw the conclusion coming on the second or third page, I still like dit.

This is so cute! The story of Ryan and Scott continues and Ryan is spending too much time on the road. When it's his birthday Scott is really disappointed - and so is Ryan - but he's afraid it will impact his future with the law firm. I turns out that some things are not worth it - especially when there is a hot and eager boyfriend waiting at home. These two are crazy in love. Very sweet!

After loving Ryan and Scott in Puppy Car and Snow I picked this short up and am really glad I did.
Ryan and Scott work great as a couple and this short look into their relationship was both hot and sweet.

I just loved Ryan and Scott. Mr. Responsible and Mr. Trying to Be, separated far too often due to Ryan's job. Including on Ryan's birthday. He's too embarrassed for phone sex, but Scott has a way around it - using the phone book. It was just sweet and sexy and showcased how you work to make your partner happy.

Absolutely fantastic..

I just can't describe how good this book is. Wow. The phone sex? You kidding me. I always fantasize about it, all the time. And, the cutest part is the relationship between the two guys here remain strong though they're separate for awhile.

Another lovely short from Amy Lane, this time a sequel of Shirt, which left me with a smile. Can't really say much without spoilers, but lets just say my tags of romance and explicit added to Amy's talent means a sexy happy ending.

3,5* This is the prequel to Puppy Car and Snow and I loved both books.

Steamy quick read about an established couple separated by a business trip. How much fun can two guys have over the phone? Ryan and Scott find out in this sexy short story.

This was a short with a nice mixture of raunchy fun and romance. I swear, I don't think I'll be able to look at a phonebook in the same way again.

A hot short story about the hassles of business travel and the erotic value of the phonebook. Great little pick-me-up story.

Very short but sexy. I haven't read the first Ryan and Scott story but I will be looking for it.
