This first half of this was -- well, let's just say not the best writing in the world, but an interesting enough story that I was willing to go with it. Then somewhere along the line we lost all input from the hero -- no POV, no indication of any kind of feeling towards the heroine whatsoever -- and the book became about as romantic as a root canal. Note to romance authors: Those long drawn-out confession of love at the end are pretty much worthless without any supporting evidence.

This story pretty much defies description, so I'm not even going to try. Suffice to say that I have never read an older HP that is such a short bus candidate like this one. Any newer HPs I have are way low on the TBR from here on out, because this type of lulz is too painful. It's not even fun self-torture. Just plain torture.

I am giving this book five stars just for entertaining the hell out of me. First of all, the name of the hero on the back of the book is not the name of the hero inside the book! Good job, Harlequin blurb-writers!
Every one of the following sentences end with an unspoken "No, REALLY."
So, the heroine, Fatty McWhiner leaves her awesome London job and flat when her mother dies, and starts selling potpourri in a cabin in the woods and crying over dying kittens or somethi More...

Ugh! This book was one of the worst books I've ever read! It was not fun to read! The hero did NOT love the heroine, I don't care what he said in the end. I don't believe him! After all he did and said to the heroine words alone didn't cut it! The author did not make him show his love for the heroine through out the whole book, but instead told her that he would never want a baby with her and he would never marry her because when he was ready to get married, he would find someone else to marry!

I don't know why I do this to myself...seriously. I have this secret obsession with Harlequin stories....I have no idea why. Its always the same formula. Guy treats girl like she's beneath him after they go to bed, finds out she's pregnant, does her the great honor of marrying her, she gives in to his every whim, has no will power where he's concerned, lots of misunderstandings and no communication, he finally realizes he loves her and makes it all better and she falls in to his arms.... But

Very fast paced. Lindy Ryman goes against her natuaral instincts and becomes involved with Arteus Drakos. Arteus in a wealthy playboy, who has never spent time with any woman, but sets out to spend almost every weekend with Lindy. He knows she is just ...a mistress, and that he will marry someone from his own background and wealth. Lindy had assumed they were closer than that, and finding out the truth almost destroys her. Finding out she is pregnant with his child, she struggles to make the mos

There were moments in the story that gave me pause and stopped my reading. An almost DNF.
The one instance that troubled me greatly was his ability to coldly drop Lindy, whatever they had, and move on. The fact he even toyed with the idea of proposing to another woman rocked me. Unexpected pregnancy the only reason he's back in her life?! HEA? Hard to imagine.
Graham couldn't salvage him in my eyes. Which made this a huge disappointment in an otherwise fun trilogy.

I have yet to not enjoy a Lynne Graham book. The heroes are alway sso callous, yet redeem themselves enough that you forgive them. The women always take way too much before they snap, but I still like these books. They keep me turning the pages because I know there's going to be a HEA and it's fun seeing(reading?) all the drama before it's reached.Just once though, I'd like to see a heroine pop the "other woman" right in the face. Just once...

When tycoon Atreus marries, he will choose a sophisticated Greek heiress as his bride. But when he meets Lindy--earthy, voluptuous and poor--he can't resist her. They have a long affair until Lindy realizes it's a dead-end relationship. The break-up is emotional and then Lindy discovers she pregnant.
This book is the third and final story in the Pregnant Brides trilogy. Greek Tycoon, Inexperienced Mistress is a sensual romance.

The book was very nice, as a story. But Mrs. Graham's narration was very distant. Sometimes I felt like I couldn't understand where we were, what exactly happened to the heroes...

Something to read while a restless babe coos at night... All that it's good for is the sake of saying I read something this week.
