I really liked the idea of this book. I expected a book geared towards the average fan that would highlight the religious themes in the book. However, it read more like a Grad School thesis then a book for a fan of the series.
I'm not an overly religious person, nor do I have an in-depth knowledge of religion and felt this book was a little over my head. While it was interesting and well written, I would only recommend it to someone who has a strong foundation on religion.

I didn't like this book at all...the religious references are far-fetched and just down right ridiculous.
