This was my first time reading one of Molly Harper's books and I must say, I really enjoyed it. How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf is a light, cute, happy-ending type book that is a great mood booster. I was smiling almost the entire time. Whether it was the hilarious battle of wills between Mo and Cooper, their incredibly unusual love story or just some of the quirky townsfolk. This book is a fun mix between chick lit and paranormal romance.

Such a fun book! I listed it as urban fantasy, but it more romance and humor with a paranormal twist. it was great as an audiobook because the humor made me laugh out loud a lot of times. It started off a little bit slowly as we got to know Mo and her new life in Alaska, but once the pace picked up I found myself really looking forward to any excise to jump in the car and listen for a while. Not only was Mo a character I'd love to be friends with, but the supporting characters were great, they a More...

3 1/2 really.

This book is fun and humerous with big slice of romance and a dash of mystery on the side. There are lots on great one liners and emminently likeable side characters especially our protagonist Mo. Mo is a strong lead and I think she choose very wisely. The other scene stealer is Oscar, so well depicted I want one.

Mo has parent issues, the hippy anti-establishment kind, and as she cannot get her parents to respect her boundaries she packs up and does a mo More...

When you have the image of Joe Manganiello in your head as you read about the werewolf and hero named, "Cooper," it makes for an enjoyable read! "Mo," the heroine has just moved from Mississippi to Alaska, if nothing else than to escape her hippie-only eat organic-don't kill animals for meat-free love-unmarried parents. (I'd have left skidmarks myself!) Mo, who has the sarcasm and wit to keep you laughing outloud, is fresh meat in the small town of Grundy, where men out nu More...

Narrated by Amanda Ronconi ... she is a very good narrator for these light funny books.

This was another fast fun listen from this author. She can sure come up with some great one liners. :)

This book reminded me of Kristan Higgins' Catch Of The Day, except that it included sexytimes (unlike COTD, which is closed door), its first person POV narrator wasn't as annoying as COTD's Maggie, and Cooper the grouchy H underwent this massive personality overhaul, which didn't really ring true to his earlier curmudgeonly characterization. That about sums up my thoughts on this book in a nutshell - there are ups and downs that make for an overall enjoyable read, but that also made it feel rath More...

After reading this book I have to admit I want to pack up my belongings and move to a remote Alaskan town, I mean who wouldn't when you are having issues in your life. But then again if I did decide to do that I sure as heck wouldn't be a good looking guy around for me, I would be left with a town filled with the old guy that kept upping his offer and the one everyone ran from.

Mo is one of those characters you can't help but to love form the first minute you meet her. I loved heari More...

How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper is one of those books that will make you laugh out loud and elicit a gambit of emotion. The building up of the love connection is artfully done. Ms. Harper also administers a good who-dun-it mystery in with the amalgamation of her book. Plus, she has filled this book with wacky characters and comical, snarky one-liners. This was the most fun I have had reading a book in a long while.

Happy Reading from Bona Fide Reflections!! More...

I loved Molly Haper's 'Nice Girls Don't ...' series featuring a children's librarian who is turned into a vampire. In that series, her male best friend had fallen in love with a werewolf girl, so I was extremely happy to discover that she started a new series featuring werewolves!

After a broken engagement, Mo Wenstein has left her life in the Mississippi Delta area to start her life over in Grundy Alaska... which also is as far from her parents (and especially her mother - More...

What I Loved: This book made me laugh out loud with gusto! Mo is a delightfully fun leading lady who can roll with punches, cook with pizzazz, and tell you like it is. She does us southern gals proud and poor Cooper just did not stand a chance. Cooper is a fantastic alpha-male because he needs Mo no-nonsense approach to everything he feeds up to her. Any other woman would have walked away from him but somet More...

Audio Book Review:

It is beyond me why people with annoying voices decide that it is their calling to narrate audio books. Enter Amanda Ronconi, narrator of Molly Harper’s book. She manages to make an already poorly written book even more horrible, especially every time she did her “man” voice. Her rendition of all male characters sounded like a 100 year old crotchety emphysema-ridden lifetime smoker. C’mon people! Unless you are a professional impressionist – lay off doing the v More...

Summary: Mo Wenstein has had enough of her hippy parents and their constant interference in her life. Given courage by the thought of being as far away from them as possible, she moves from Mississippi to Alaska without telling them where she is going.

Alaska proves to be a good fit for Mo. She makes new friends and finds a job quickly. She even meets a nice young police officer, named Alan, who is instantly smitten with her. However, Mo’s attention is cons More...

So I obviously was inspired by last week's Book Blogger Hop for the crazy book title. I decided to actually read the silly book and see if its as funny inside as it was outside and I must admit, it was better.

I loved Mo with her witty remarks and comebacks. She was like the more outspoken me (minus the crazy hippie parents who caused her to run across state lines to get away). It was interesting to watch how well she grew accustomed to like in Grundy , Alaska and how easily the resid More...

I went on a 50% off romance novel shopping spree at Borders and this was one of the books I got.

It was cute. It reminded me of the light, fun contemporary romances that were popular when I first started reading romance, with a little paranormal thrown in. In fact after a few years of not finding a lot in romance I wanted to read because of the dominance of paranormal (eventhough I don't completely dislike paranormal) it seems contempoary might be making a comeback.

Mo Wenstein moves to all the way from the Mississippi Delta to Grundy, Alaska to get away from a broken engagement and her parents. She wasn't too upset by the engagement but her parents are another story. New age/hippies/vegans -- whatever you call them they have been overly involved in their only child's life. Her mother has the lethal charm that enabled her to get a security pass into Mo's dorm when she was at college. As Mo puts it:

Yes, this book was a tad too predictable, but strangely I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! I am waiting at my mailbox right now for the next installment in the series. Molly Harper had me hooked years back on her Nice Girls series which are predictable, but witty, crammed with hilarity and wonderful characters you just can't help but love. Not to mention the Mighty Morphin Power Penis...I am still laughing my ass off over that one!

Mo's parents are just too much to handle being in the same state with. Combine that with a mutual split with her fiance and a little googling and hey there Grudy Alaksa! Let's chill.

So you know how some books are a little silly and maybe not entirely factual but instead of bugging you, you just go with it? This was one of those for me. I liked Mo bunches, even if her overreaching vegan hippie parents were a bit much. She kicked ass when needed; I like that. I wasn't in love wit More...

The Good Stuff

* A truly funny, sweet, charming adorable read
* Some very naughty bits that had me wishing werewolves were real - however I would be quite pissed for their obvious disregard for expensive lingerie (but hey if he was willing to replace it all, I could get over it)
* Love the quirky secondary characters
* The sense of community is so nicely written about that I had a sudden urge to move to Grundy , Alaska

Molly Harper's latest offering doesn't disappoint. There's humor, wit, and sarcasm aplenty in this one, so if that's your thing, pick it up!

Character: Mo Wenstein is a hippy-raised southern gal running away from her interfering mother. Where does she head to? Why, Alaska, of course! Mo is funny and warm, yet sarcastic and sassy. She'd have to be, to have survived childhood with her given name! I liked her, and I liked how she's torn between trying to like the nice guy, and actually lik More...

Freakin' hilarious! I fell in love with Harper's Nice Girl series, it only seems appropriate for her to come out with it's counterpart, the werewolf series.

Mo was such a great character. I loved reading and seeing her world through her eyes. Harper is a genius at snark, and I loved the fully loaded Mo and her journey to find herself. What makes this one of the most enjoyable books I have ever read, is the balance. The funny parts don't overshadow the serious ones and vice versa. It More...

Mo Wenstein has just broken up with her boyfriend and has decided she needed a change. She also has some very interesting yet intrusive parents that sort of make it easier for Mo to decide to move all the way across country to Grundy, Alaska.

Mo moves to Grundy with a plastered "New Arrival" stamp on her forehead. She is very pretty so the men start to perk up a bit when she walks into the Blue Glacier saloon. It's one of those small towns were everyone knows everyone and m More...

All Hail the Mighty Morphin Power Penis!

Slipping out of Mississippi and moving to the small town of Grundy, Alaska to escape the invasive influence of her hippie parents seemed like a great idea to Mo Duvall-Wenstein, but the culture shock may just kill her - if she can survive the winter, the quirky locals...oh yeah, and the surly, cantankerous werewolf. Who may or may not be savagely killing locals and tourists.

And the sad thing is, all that still beats being More...

This is an enjoyable, lighthearted read about an incredibly likeable Southern girl named Mo, who packs up her bags, leaves her job and moves to small town Grundy, Alaska, in an effort to put space between herself and her hippie, supremely helicoptering parents and their inablility to understand personal space boundaries. Mo is funny and has a fabulous lingerie collection. (I wanted to buy better panties after reading about hers.) The town's characters are straight out that old tv show, Northern More...

I enjoyed the Jane Jameson books, but ending up not finishing this one. It's a quick, easy to read bit of fluff. It's marked as Paranormal Romance and while it has two people coming together and one was a werewolf, it didn't have much of either the paranormal or romance. It was more of a chick lit type read about how the main character felt, her job and her interactions with the town folk.

I didn't care about Mo or her relationship with Cooper. There is a mystery involving missi More...

Mo escapes from her overbearing hippie parents and moves to a small town in Alaska. She's the talk of the men in town, first because she's a single woman, and second because she becomes the cook at the local tavern. The only people who don't like her are Lynette (who thinks Mo's muscling in on her territory) and Cooper, who's surly to everyone.

Mo makes friends, laughs wryly and fits in easily to small town life. She learns to live on her own in the small cabin in the woods, where she More...

When Mo Duvall-Wenstein finally decided to dump her vanilla fiance and make a fresh start away from her overbearing hippy parents, remote Grundy, Alaska seemed like the perfect escape. Even if the town happens to be a little on the smallish side, Mo quickly begins to feel right at home after finding a cooking job at the local diner/saloon and making friends with - most - of the locals. With the glaring exception of one Cooper Graham, smokin' hot good looks notwithstanding. Cooper has yet to best More...

Oh come on, a naked werewolf? How could I resist? Despite the embarrassment of having to ask the guy at the bookstore to help me find a copy, I just had to read this latest series starter from 'Nice Girls' author Molly Harper. It was well worth the blushes (his and mine) because Harper delivers a cute, chuckle-filled adventure as Southerner and former hippies' child Mo relocates to a small remote Alaskan town to 'find herself' and I even though I've read a lot of great stuff this year How to Fli More...
