This was a First Reads win for me. I was interested in it because both my husband and I have small businesses.

Jeffrey Hayzlett is an accomplished marketer and a successful businessman. He has a large personality overflowing with confidence, which more often than not overshadows the book's content. The only thing differentiating The Mirror Test from a myriad of other business books is the personality behind it. It contains solid advice, as do most, but with the advice comes a 225-page long unapologetic message about Hayzlett's greatness.

I must say that this is a well-written book, packed with lots of wisdom from Jeffrey Hayzlett! It makes me think that one cannot solely depend on a fad to carry on a business, it needs lots of research, and knowledge to make a business successful. One success doesn't guarantee a business would carry on for a longer period. Great book, and entertaining, too!

Won this as a giveaway. Got it in the mail yesterday. Its more for my husband to read since he's part of a family business. He likes it so far. The language is simple, but interesting and the anecdotes are hilarious and to the point. I will write more when we get through it.

I loved this book. I think Jeffrey Hayzlett has a lot of wisdom. The book was well written. Educational and entertaining. The audio version from Audible.com is also great (the author reads). It made me a Hayzlett fan for sure. I have recommended it to friends.

Very interesting and helpful to any business. It would help companies that are doing well and those that are barely hanging on.
