Ashira Datya’s Review

I really enjoyed reading An Improper Lover, it reminded me of the romance novels I started out reading. Sisters Harriet and Leonora were as different as night and day. Harriet did not like the bustle of London while Leonora couldn't, or at least didn't want to, live without it.

Harriet and Leonora's family go to the country to pay their last respects to Harrison, a cousin, who married into the family years before. Once in the country, Harriet is reunited with Harrison's cous

I knew that I was going to love this book and love it I did! Historical romances with a mystery included are right up my alley. The story of the fiery red-headed Harriet and the handsome and gorgeous Gerard was one I couldn't put down! Maggi Andersen did a wonderful job of combining romance and suspense and keeping me intrigued until the end!

Fans of Regency romances will enjoy thi ...more
