Just as amazing as the first book in this series (Honeybone), this second volume held me spellbound - but for somewhat different reasons. Where the first volume focused on the serial killer and Honeybone's determination/obsession to capture him, in this second book it is Honeybone's personal life at the center of attention. As a result, the threats he is presented with are also of a more personal nature.

The pace of the story is as relentless as in book one. Events make it look as though the seri

One thing I love about AJ Llewellyn’s writing is the ability to convey the deepest feeling of love and tenderness in a hot, sexy scene. It makes the telling all the more provocative, because you can feel the emotion mixed with the physical. Creed has that feel to it. It is a continuation of the story of Dean “Marshall Honeybone” and his chef love, Jean-Luc, along with their daughter Kaia. Dean is the guardian of Kaia, who he had rescued from a plane crash that killed her parents, along with ever ...more

To the men and women of the US Marshal Service, especially the ones who have worked so hard in the protection of children—thank you for all you do.

This is the sequel to Honeybone and picks up quite nicely where the first book left off. This book was just as fabulous as the first one. Dean Honeybone is home in his native New Orleans with his husband Jean-Luc and now Kaia whose visiting them from Austral

I love these characters, especially the way both Dean and Luc look out for Kaia. Llewellyn really surprised me with how this particular mystery worked out.

A.J. Llewellyn lives in California, but dreams of living in Hawaii. Frequent trips to all the islands, bags of Kona coffee in the fridge and a healthy collection of Hawaiian records keep this writer refueled.

A.J’s passion for the islands led to writing a play about the last ruling monarch of Hawaii, Queen Lili’uokalani as well as a non-erotic novel about the overthrow of her kingdom written in dia
