I'm going against the flow on this one. I didn't like it very well at all. I'm am reading the series in order and I didn't find it as well done as the others in the series so far. There were times when it would be getting interesting and every time it just went south.

Just gonna warn you now this whole review is spoilerific.

Characterization was just not there and the world building was lacking. Not only that but what there was didn't really make much sense. Wasn't very alien either somehow. I di

I read this book in one day, which for me is quite a feat since I'm always so busy. But there I stood last night, stirring pasta at the stove with one hand with my kindle in the other. It was enthralling.

Rever is the son of Berrr, who is the high-mucky-muck of the planet Zorn. Rever has agreed to take in a human woman named Brenda for a week, but nothing on their world is ever easy and this one-week assignment is no different.

Poor Brenda! She escapes her crazy, abusive husband and is found by Va
Red goes.......

This is by far my favorite book of the series. I adored Rever. He made me want to jump ship and head over there. I think they all learned a valuable lesson in regards to Earth women. Maybe a little more research before you go beaming them up. Tina was wretched person that did not get the ending she deserved. That is really the only thing that I didn't like.

The funniest part had to be the killus. The four legged lawn mowers. That was fantastic. I got this picture of a pomer
This book was great. It was just as good as the first one, but better than the second. I loved it, and I loved Rever. It was great to see there are still more younger brothers! Hopefully there will be many more books to come!!
I liked this book, but didn't think it was as good as the previous two books. I just didn't understand why the laws couldn't be changed if they found mates incompatible, I mean, really they are the ruling family so they can at least start to change some of the laws.

Just a little hesitant in reading the last book in the series as I already realized in this book that (view spoiler).

Good Lawd and Hot Damn! I Love myself some Rever!

I could just sop him up with a biscuit! This series just rocks.
Again, another exciting story in the "Zorn Warriors" sci -fi romance series. With elements of danger, suspense, drama, angst, stifling passion and hot, hot sex, I just couldn't put it down until the last page was turned. This series has captured my heart and these warriors/ heroes will be in my dreams for some time to come. :-D This one was especially fun with its twist in matchmaking. Love the "down-to-earth" (literally. :-p) heroine in this tale. She's spunky yet vulnerable. Definitely a must ...more

This book is a little different than the others in that you don't see Rever bound with his mate, Tina, however, you immediately hate her. Brenda has agreed to bound with another warrior, however, he is killed in the attack we read about in the last book. His brother claims her and is coming to get her. Rever and Brenda fall in love, and their feelings are intensified by Tina's horrible personality. I would loan this book if you enjoy the series-TTFN-Sandy
If you're a Dohner fan then this will not leave you disappointed. In this male dominated world the human females are really getting the upper hand. I love how with ever book in the series the world of Zorn is growing and we are exposed to different dilemmas. Thank you Ms Dohner for not making ever female they come across as excepting because Lord alone knows we have all kinds. I really hated Tina but it brought an interesting storyline.
I am hooked on LD's erotic-sci fi stories. The glimpses of the Zorn world are interesting but that is all you get ... just glimpses. I just wish the stories were more fleshed out.(no pun intended) The author spins a great yarn but it seems about one mitten short
Okay definitely my name stands for " strong as a sword" XD.
This is the story of the third prince from Zorn and Brenda.
Actually even if the author tried to presented him as such a gentleman, he actually was really eager to get for himself a human, only to tend to his basics needs, and he was so stupid enough to be tricked by a complete bitch who makes his life completely miserable, so that wa s as far he went with the concept that all the human women are mellow and submissive hehe. And then is wh
Review might contain tiny spoilers.

I did not this one very much, and if I could give a lower rating I would.

The relationship between Rever and Brenda is just ridiculous! Granted, I'm all for love at first sight, but these two take it to a whole new level. They've known each other for what seems like 2 minutes and apparently can't stay away from each other. Rever is already in a bound-relationship with/married to a human, and therefore he is trying "very hard" not to succumb to his "feelings" tow

Overall: What a wild adventure ride and boy was it WILD. From furies fuzzies running through the street, to bitchy females that should've just stayed on earth, to an epic battle for the one you truly love. I'm still unsure if i really liked this book, or if I didn't. There were parts in the book that i completely swooned, but i think Tina's character really put a damper on the whole story for me. I did enjoy the end when she finally got her just desserts, but i couldn't believe all the b
Let's face it you either buy into the Zorn world or you don't. It's not for everyone and at times the snarling is annoying. This was more of a if it can go wrong it will story. Fated lovers unable to be together because of prior commitments, run off together and then that is a bust too. The fact that these big burly types would be so passive and take the crap that Rever took from his heatedly procured bound, is kind of hard to believe. I know it's all make believe but it seems to be asking to mu ...more

Another great installment of the Zorn Warriors series. Brenda falls instantly in love/lust with Rever who unfortunately is "bound" to Tina the human bitch. As a new widow, her options are limited as she is to be given to her dead husband's brother. The whole situation is disastrous and there seems to be no good possible outcome. Rever is forces to make a desperate decision to save his true love...

These guys should think about inventing divorce. It would save a lot of lives and ease tons of miser

The books in this series could be read as stand alone ,but it is better to have read at least the first one to understand the need for human women on the planet Zorn.
Brenda agreed to travel to Zorn to escape from a bad life on Earth. The warrior that she was with is killed in action before they land. That leaves Brenda to be inherited by the warrior's brother. He is away from the planet, so she is sent to the home of a man who already has a human . That is to protect her f

I listened to this book on Audibles and the narrator did a good job. This is the third book in this series and I found it entertaining. This story had a lot more going on. We got to see more of the planet Zorn, learn more about its customs politics and peoples, and see that things are not so great as we are led to believe in the first two books. I really liked the couple in the third book. They fell in love at first sight; but due to some crazy laws. Rever has an earth bound mate, and Brenda is ...more

This was a bit different from the others in this series. This Zorn warrior already had a bound. One who was an incredible bitch. This doesn't excuse the adultery but I understood it.

Overall I still liked the story. The whole forbidden thing was an intriguing story line.
4 stars

Damn this series just gets better! I enjoyed the story line. It was so different than previous books I was hooked. I liked the main characters although I favoured more on Rever than Brenda. Only if Brenda as feisty and fierce as Casey, they would make a perfect couple. I am looking for more in this series.

Off to next book. Read on your own peril.

This was my least favorite of the series.

Brenda is a human who wanted to get away from her she willingly left with a Zorn male to start a new life. While in transport...he dies. Now what is she supposed to do?? Well, according to Zorn law...she now belongs to his brother...

While she is waiting to be collected...she stays with Rever. She should feel no harm because Rever is already bound to a human...a total bitch!!

She is horrible!! She has no respect...she tempts other men...she cusse
I was kind of surprised that I liked this one, since generally if there is any kind of (view spoiler) involved, it makes me less inclined to enjoy it.

I rather liked Rever.
I did like Brenda.

I get where both of them are coming from.

Tina, was a bit too much of a one dimensional bitch. Absolutely no redeeming qualities. Which was the entire point. We were meant to hate her. Just like we are meant to hate... shoot whatever his name is.

Pretty much most of the drama could have

3.5 stars. Sorry this book I was not feeling so much. Rever already had a human that was not understanding. Brenda wanted him but knew what was going on. Finally it all work out at the end.

3/5; 3 stars: B

Better than the last one and it had some entertaining moments but I find the world Dohner built very annoying. I will finish the series but its not my fave.
I so did not like this book! I usually love Laurann Dohner books but this one was just a let down. 2 stars because okay writing but I just hated the story.
Another steamy edition to the Zorn Warriors. These guys are not subtle and are huge brutes, but I like em anyway lol.
I loved this and I'm sad because I have now read all of her books so I have to wait for the next one. LOL!
Future Slayer Girl (aka: kitten)
This one, not so much. Not sure what it was missing, but I was missing it.
