I really liked it. I wasn't sure when I started reading it, but liked it more and more as I got further into it. Being from a small town (but not a farm), I kind of understood a lot that he said about the small town in the novel. My situation was obviously not the same as his, but I still liked the small town theme.

It was about family; it was about lost love and new love. It was also about getting over loss.

A great coming of age story! I love the way Funk tells a story. I appreciate the new perspectives I got and have hung onto.
Highly recommend. 4.5 Stars This is one of those stories that sneaks up and grabs the heart. There's no sexy, sex scene. What it is is a Character driven story. It's free...try it.
