The boy in a family seems to have the best adventure on a trip to Australia. Vocabulary includes Sydney, Ayers Rock, Australian Outback, aborigines, and Pitjantjatjara. A talking kangaroo enlivens the story.

Patrick Skene Catling is a British children's book author and book reviewer best known for writing The Chocolate Touch in 1952.
