This is so not what you expect when you pick up a Harlequin. For me, the expectation is something light. Maybe even frothy. This goes a little deeper.

Aidan, the hero in this, is an ex-soldier recovering from being captured and tortured in Darfur. He's writing a book about his experiences and each chapter starts with an excerpt from his book.
