Elmo is very popular among little ones and in this book, he focuses on showing little readers, all sorts of animals. The big lift-the-flaps make it extra easy for your eager children to see what is beneath each door, window, etc.

I especially like how there is a wealth of information on each page, but it is positioned so well, that your little ones will not be overwhelmed.
To me, that is the key to holding your reader's attention!

I also like how Elmo encourages the children to move like he does.

6mos-2yrs- Familiar character Elmo invites young children to get up and move by pretending to be different sorts of animals. Every other page has a flap to open, revealing a new animal to imitate. The combination of photographed Sesame Street puppets and drawn illustrations in this board book will surely elicit recognition from young readers. This book is high energy, better for play time than bedtime.

This lift-the-flap book is extremely cute. "Crawl like a crab in the sand. Leap like a frog from the water to the land."
