Some pretty good stuff, slightly whimsical and at times lyrical, a great medley of experience. The best poems were the short thematic ones, for me at least. A concrete image that short-circuits itself. One of the great things that WC Williams could do as well, and Laird has the skills for it. But on the other hand, I wasn't exactly moved that much by the poems. I just enjoyed certain bits.
