This is a book, in the Osprey library, that considers tank warfare in the Spanish Civil War/Revolution. As the author, Steven Zaloga says (page 4), "The Great Powers looked to the Spanish conflict to validate their own tank programs and to learn any important lessons about tank warfare." In fact, the author nortes, it was unlikely that a great deal could be learned from this conflict. His case as to why this was so is very interesting reading.
