Cultures collide. I was waiting for Jaypaw to dream up a Tribe solution at the end rather than the Clan solution that emerged. Then it turned out that the whole thing had occurred just because the three (two of whom don't even know about the prophecy yet) had to go to the mountains and be damned to the Tribe! And I am unclear what the three were to learn - or did learn - after going there. Still enjoyable but sometimes seems like there is little point in it?

I love this series so much that I am flying by these books. The apprentices find out the deepest secret of them all and they travel to the mountain to save The Tribe, and will StarClan and The Tribe of Endless Hunting be with them on this daring journey?

This book, once again, follows Jaypaw, Hollypaw, and Lionpaw. When visitors from the Tribe Of Rushing Water come to visit Stormfur and Brook (Brook Where Small Fish Swim) who are currently living in ThunderClan. The three littermates all have their reasons for wanting to go to the mountains where the Tribe makes their home. Jaypaw wants to go to find more abo

This was a book that definitely picked up the pace of the PO3 series as each of Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw's litter begin to embrace, develop, and understand their gifts. However, we learn much about Jaypaw as his curiousity takes him on a dreamquest to weave a tapestry from the tattered dreams he has shared, as well as invaded, with StarClan, the Tribe of Endless Hunting, and the Ancient Cats.

The three of this prophesy all find themselves drawn to the mountains but for different reasons ..

Once again, the Erins are starting to lose it. I hate to say this, but this book was a little boring. And also, I didn't like how we spend the entire book trying to solve a problem but we never actually solve it . The forest cats "solution" seems completely implausible and we never actually SOLVE the problem. By the end its basically
-"Well, that was fun!! I'm bored. Time to go home! Peace! Good luck with that whole invading-cats-are-stealing-all-your-prey-thing. I know our solution is weird for

I was so happy when Purdy was brought into this book even if only for a short time; I just love Purdy.
In this book all the cats that went to the Sundrowned place along with Jaypaw, Hollypaw, Lionpaw and Breezepaw go on a special mission to help some old friends. The secrets of why Stormfur and Brook left the Tribe Of Rushing Waters is revealed.
Meanwhile, Lionpaw is being coaxed away by Tigerstar's evil presence. And Jaypaw is wondering whether or not he should tell his litter mates about the--

I'm not sure why but I am having a harder time enjoying this particular story arc. They are still very well written and the prophecy they are following is intriguing but I'm not loving it as much. Still would recommend it to kids and adults!

I think it's quite mysterious with all of the many warriors, clans and ancient cats going on. So far some of the cats went on a journey to unite the clans to help the Tribe of Rushing Water. They met up with an old cat who helped rescue some apprentices from dogs. Finally after the long nights and days of walking they reach stoneteller's home and he turns them away. That same night Jaypaw has a dream about the ancient cats; they tell him to give Stoneteller a message. The Clan teach the Tribe the ...more

I don’t really know how I feel about this book. I kind of feel that it was unneeded but readers needed to know that the ancient cats started out at the lake first.

I don’t think the intruders needed to be brought in the way they were although, thinking about it, maybe this led to Stoneteller not picking the next one.

I’m not that big a fan of shock value, especially when it isn’t done right and doesn’t seem to help the story. Rock really doesn’t seem to do anything either but confirm what Jaypaw s

At the beginning of the book we get whats known as one of the most important prophecies and helps show us where the book/series will continue forward. I enjoy this because while reading you think in you're heart about how the series will be like and things of that matter. As Jaypaw dives deeper into his thoughts with Starclan he learns about the ancient cats and tries and learn about more of his future destiny can hold for him and his kin. While on the other hand the other two siblings face more ...more

This portion of the series finally saw some action and development of the characters, but focused more on the Brook/Stormfur storyline, which was nice to get some insight into. Series still isn't nearly as interesting as the Firestar saga, but maybe I'm judging this based on the original series, which its not, simply because it features the grandchildren of Firestar.

This is the third book in the Warriors: Power of Three series. It appears to be the third of many series about wild cats. With more than 300 pages, this is a great book for older children to start expanding their reading comprehension abilities and challenging themselves with longer books.

I love books that get our girls excited to read and the Warriors did that for our youngest. She is in love with these stories! I like to read whatever they are reading, so we can chat about the stories and dis
