My favorite: screenshots + short descriptions. Brainstorm for the win.
Easy to flip through and easy to digest.

Organized by basic design principles (emphasis, contrast, balance, alignment, repetition, flow) and then by site type, styles/themes, structural styles & structural elements.

My one gripe would be a desire to blow up at least one screenshot per section and call out the specific elements that are being demonstrated.

This was a good companion to The Principles of Beautiful Web Designin that I could take each lesson in the book on design principles and find lots of extra examples, tips, and links to tutorials in this book.

Again, another good book to have on your shelf to help inspire you when you are in a creative stand off.

This and Vol 1 work well together - I only saw a handful of sites that were duplicated. The content was fresh and I liked the explanation at the beginning of each section. It was thoughtful without being preachy.

Interesting book that gives basic of idea generation using the already available resources; especially other designer's work -- and how to gain idea from them instead of just copying.

A great book of ideas and each design concept is thoroughly explained and illustrated. Being the web, though, it will probably be outdated next year.
