Spiritually, men are frustrated today because they feel they are repeatedly coming up short or are in other ways unfulfilled. Like football players in the “red zone,” they are struggling to complete the drive toward integrity and intimacy with God.

That drive toward spiritual maturity requires both a shift of heart and a re-examination of the spiritual habits. What men lac

This is a good book about Christian manhood but it lacks Biblical authority. I still enjoyed it, but mainly because of the stories it told that I could relate to.

This book of faith, directed to men, doesn't pull any punches. So much so, there were plenty of places that actually made me uncomfortable. One reason is summed up in a line of the book that read, "For nine out of ten guys, lust, porn, or sexual fantasy are their main sources of disconnection from God." I guess I'm one one in ten (*not to toot my own horn; a combination of bring a paramedic and trauma nurse followed by an absolute revulsion of any porn post salvation keeps me from dabbling into ...more

Candid look at the call to biblical manhood. I was both challenged and relieved by reading it.
I thought this was a good well written book about living after God standards. I read a previous book about sexual temptation that really transformed me and this one was a great book as well. The lessons that were taught in this book can be applied to almost any situation. I thought it was consistent, helpful and encouraging. It took me less than a day to finish it, I loved the practical steps that was included.

Every Man, God’s Man is refreshingly honest and incredibly relevant. The authors use real-life examples of men struggling mightily against the temptations of this world to be godly men. They offer real support and solutions straight out of scripture and their own experience. I was inspired to have more compassion for my husband and to pray for him on a daily basis as he aspires to be a godly man.

I got excited after reading "Every Man's Battle" that I wanted to read all of them in the series; however, this one seemed to me that the author was just trying to make some more money. I think I need to read it again now that I am older and actually am willing to learn out of it.

Recommends it for: YES
Yet another very good book in the "Every Man" series. A few of the chapters are short and seemed to replay what some or their other books say, but all in all a "must read" for Every Man! They back it up and line up with Scripture and that is a Plus in my book!!!

While it's a rarity that I take the time to read through a book more than once, this has been one of those few books. Cover to cover it is just as applicable now to me as it was a year ago when I first read it.

It was okay, but clearly there were some things in there that disagree what I've been taught straight from the Bible, and so I had to disregard them in favour of what I learned from the Bible.
