Rock Me (Ross Siblings #2)
Candace Andrews has had enough of pleasing others. In an act of birthday rebellion, she sets out to please herself—by walking into the tattoo parlor owned by her cousin’s ex-boyfriend. All she wants is a little ink, and Brian’s just the guy to give it to her.

"You touch yourself in front of me and I'll pull over and have your knees crammed around your ears in a fucking nanosecond. See if I don't." ~Brian
This book was JUST what I needed to read right now: heavily tattooed and kinkily pierced bad boy hero with big heart, super cute and very steamy love story, no big bad guy, laugh out loud moments, and a happy ending.
Also "educational" lol, I learned all about "apadravyas" and their benefits heeheehee (PS, if you google that, its very...more
Rock Me is book two in the Ross Siblings series and another very sexy read. I've had this one sitting around for awhile, but kept putting it off because of mixed reviews and comments from friends. Wow, am I glad I didn't wait any longer to read this awesome story!
I adored Brian! What a great hero. His piercings and ink nearly drove me to distraction and had me searching the web for more information. Ladies, when you've got some privacy, check out this picture of Brian's Apadravya. It's his penis...more
To sum it up: Candace Andrews has had enough of pleasing others. In an act of birthday rebellion, she sets out to please herself, by walking into the tattoo parlor owned by her cousin’s ex-boyfriend. All she wants is a little ink, and Brian’s just the guy to give it to her. As soon as she submits to his masterful hands, though, the forbidden attraction she’s always felt for him resurfaces... And she realizes the devilishly sexy artist could give her so...more
I'm starting off with a picture of MY Brian. The ONLY man I could picture the whole book was Carey Hart and let me tell you that that man is the quintessential tattooed bad boy!!!! He makes me sizzling HOT. I literally drool over him ...AHHHHH... I'm in lust!!!

Candice (the heroine) is sick of her parents running her life. They're always trying to control her and every move she makes. She's the good girl and is always doing what's expected of her. So she decides she's gonna...more
Brian…

…is the only reason why I rounded up to four stars coz basically Rock Me is no more than a 3.5 stars read. As it was, he made up for Candace’s shortcomings. Boy, he had to work hard to achieve it, though. Well done, Brian!
It's only a tattoo…
…when Candace walks into Brian’s tattoo parlor and the story takes it from there. Whew. I have to take a deeeeeep breath....more
Overall, I really liked this book. I will admit to being confused with the abrupt decisions Candace made toward the end of the book. However, Brian more than made up for that issue. I couldn't help but fall completely and utterly in love with him. He is the reason I gave this book 4 stars.

What a GREAT find in Cherrie Lynn. IMHO Brian ranks right up there with Lauren Dane's Brody Brown. Actually he my be number one in my tattooed, brooding, exceptionally hot alpha male category. This authors writing style reminds me a lot of Lauren Dane's.
This is a great face paced story. I have to say that Candace got on my nerves A LOT toward the end, but we get our HEA so it's all good!

I was just looking back at the last dozen books I've read... and WOW what a line up... and this one is no execption!! I've had this book for quite a while, and had heard only great things about it. Well... they are all true... and more. It was a wonderfully written romance with just a hint of Romeo & Juliet style to it.

Reading this took me back in time, when life was just about having fun and enjoying the moment. For a steamy book, it was well done. There was more plot than porn.
The whiplash indecision of the heroine did annoy me over and over, but Brian was so incredible, he sort of buffered her behavior. I didn't want the hero to fall so hard so fast, but what do you do? He went from lusting after her to...more
This was suggested as a fix for my separation from Lucas in Tamarra Webber's Easy but I wouldn't call it a fix so much as an upgrade! Holy Tattooed Hotness!
Brian and Candace have known each other for years, what they don't realize is they have both WANTED each other this whole time! Candace gets a great idea to go get a tattoo for her birthday and she won't have it done by anyone else but Brian. She gets her tattoo and something more when he sli...more

This is the second book I have read by this author, the first was the book before this one in this series. I enjoyed the first one but I definitely think this one has a better storyline. I found the book an easy read. It had some sexy scenes & quite a few sappy-ish love sc...more
Loved this one! I'm sure the fact that the narrator was a faaabulous female named Candace had nothing to do with it. Even spelled it the right way, hot damn!
Well, hello there sexy tattooed Brian:

Mmmmmm, droooooool, mmmmmmmmm----Sorry, what was I saying?
Oh yeah. Brian. Hotness. Sexy tattoos. Serious yum factor. Might wanna check this one out. And by "might", I mean what the hell are you waiting for, just pick up your damn kindle and press the one-click buy button. You're welcome.

Yesterday, I sent out a call on Twitter for something dirty. And thank god for my PV, because she sent me this. And HOMIGOD, I loved it. I couldn't put it down, and stayed up wayyyyy past my bed time to finish. There's just something about a tattooed bad boy going all moony over a girl that is so freakin' hot. And Brian was hot with a capital H-O-T.

Living on her own, Candace is ruled with an iron fist from her very controlling parents. She has to decide whether she’s willing to risk the only person she has loved from her very snobbish family. Brian also comes for a wealthy family but is an outcast and doesn’t live the high society life. Although he himself is a success, being a business owner and a tattoo artist.

I too loved Brian...what a sweet heart! Personally, I don't see the stigma to tattoos and piercings (even though I have none except the single holes that hold my half carat diamonds...). Lol...
The richy rich do not like any one different...newvo riche especially...so Candace was up against her parents who were snobs...plain and simple.

I really want a Brian of my own!
Re-reading for the 3rd time! This couple is great and is probably my favorite of the series. Brian is totally sexy with his tattoos and piercings! The chemistry between them is great and the plot is too!

In this installment we're facing Brian's story. Brian was a troubled teen, and that left a bitter taste for his family, even though he had picked himself up, opened a business and is behaving (mostly) like a responsible adult. Yes, he's tattooed and pierced, in more than the visible places, but that has nothing to do with his heart.
His ex girlfriend, Michelle's cousin, Candace, was always in love with Brian. She's been pining for the past 2 yea...more
This book definitely deserves 5 stars! I just LOVED Rock Me! I was pulled in from page one and found myself wanting MORE every time I turned a page. All her life, Candace Andrews has done everything to please her parents and others, but on the night of her 23rd birthday, she finds herself at a tattoo parlor (owned by her cousin’s ex-boyfriend, and her long time crush, Brian Ross…) to get herself a little ink. Candace is tired of always pleasing others and never herself, so a tattoo is the perfec

UPDATE 11.14.12 - Candice does not deserve Brian. She's annoying the fuck outta me. Brian, however...HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! I looked up his piercing and I literally gawked for a good five minutes. My head was literally swimming with naughty and delightful thoughts. Holy shit. Is it hot in here? Anyway, I might have to come back to this. Not feeling convinced that Brian feels any attractio...more
Oh. My. God. I haven’t found a series of dirty, dirty books that I am this excited about since Lorelei James’ Rough Riders. Give me plot, character development, and romance with my erotica and I will love you long time… Which is exactly what Miz Lynn gives us with Rock Me.
I really have to thank my dearest Paula for another super sexy series! Babe – thank you! *wink*
So, let me list for you the things I loved about this book…

This is the real bad boy meets good girl romance. Candace is sweet, innocent (they always are!) and still lives under her parents wings and is extremely controlled by them. And they (obviously) are rich snobs who despise everyone that doesn't stand up to their standards and already have a pre-arranged life for Candace.

I know what you're thinking...Julie, how could you possibly give this romance book that many stars and not give some of the more serious and thought-provoking books higher ratings? I would then tell you that I rate each and every single book according to the standards that I bestow on each writing genre. I do this simply because a powerful and inspiring piece of literature is so completely different and plays a much more complex role when I'm reading it than a book like"Rock Me" which i...more
