This was one of my first romance novels, and I've read it so many times I've actually lost count. If you're looking for a gripping love story, I would recommend giving this one a try. It's high in drama and adventure, in a swashbuckling, fantastical sort of way. It really is a rollercoaster of two people meeting under extraordinary circumstances, falling in love over time, and struggling to achieve that happily-ever-after.
