Planar Chaos is a good book and worth while read. However, due to its plot line (the adventure of Teferi, Venser, and Jhoira attempting to seal space-time rifts, caused by many magic based disasters that have accumulated on and scared Dominaria, that are threatening the multiverse)the book starts slightly on the slow side and is commonly explaining bits and pieces of the back story. Fortunately, Planar Chaos quickly gains momentum, and will keep the reader's attention until a climatic ending ...more

Recommends it for: anyone who loves the fantasy genre
My review for this book is the same as the first book in the series. I thought this book is fantastically written. The characters are good (but not spectacular), and the storyline is interesting (again, not spectacular). I give this book 5 stars, however, because it is just superbly written and was exceptionally enjoyable for that reason. It was sufficiently complicated without being overly so, it was flavorfully descriptive without getting tedious, and it flowed very evenly. I find writing of ...more
