As casual reading, I guess this book would work, but as a reference it just isn't precise enough. Done in a graphic novel style, this book is meant more as a introduction to Sitting Bull rather than a book to really get to know the deep information. I didn't care for the illustrations, but some might. There are better books out there to read if you're interested in him.

Recommends it for: children who enjoy reading graphic novels
Interesting, dramatic and informative, this graphic novel depicts the life of Sitting Bull.

Some of the details are a bit graphic, but the man lived a life filled with conflict and at times, violent battle.

I also thought that some of the illustrations were confusing and I wasn't always sure who was being featured.

Still, it's a fast read and we all learned more about this famous man.
