recommends it for:
sci-fi fans who fancy something a bit different to the usual cliche story
This is a sci-fi book with a difference. I loved the quirkiness of the characters, the fact that the System was simultaneously old and new. It was also a pleasant surprise to find gay characters slotted into a story that wasn't about "being gay". I must admit I found the ending a little bit of a disappointment but it didn't ruin the story for me.

Started reading this one a while back, and I'm going to give it another shot as I seem to have an appetite for concise paperbacks right about now. Let's see if we can raise above the mediocrity of the last title I read.
