Sara Shepard (Goodreads Author)
In Rosewood, Pennsylvania, four perfect-looking girls aren't nearly as perfect as they seem.
Aria can't resist her forbidden ex. Hanna is on the verge of losing her BFF. Emily is freaking out over a simple kiss. And Spencer can't keep her hands off anything that belongs to her sister.
Lucky me. I know these pretty little liars better than they know themselves. But it'

This book beats the first 2 by LOADS! Perfect is, well, perfect! It is so suspenseful and wonderfully written. The characters are SO amazing with well-described thoughts, their own feelings, and their different actions that really allow you to understand what life is like for each girl.
I love the relationship between Lucas and Hanna, with Aria and Sean/Ezra coming in a close second. The relationship with Maya and Emily is nice, too, because they will do anything and face everything to be togethe...more

Spencer, Aria, Hanna, Emily and Alison were best friends. Alison was the queen bee, and she knew all of their dirty little secrets. But then one day Alison vanished.
Now, years later, they aren't friends anymore--indeed, they have nothing to do with each other. Until they start receiving text messages and notes from A. Who knows all of their secrets. Things only Alison knew.
Who is A? And what is A going to do with their secrets?

The saga of Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer continues. Aria's family is in shambles, and her mother can't bear the sight of the daughter who withheld knowledge of her father cheating. Emily struggles with her sexuality and trying to get her parents to accept her. Hanna is falling out with her BFF, Mona. And Spencer perhaps has taken one too many things from Melissa.

PERFECT starts out with a flashback to a time when Ali was still alive and part of the group. Ali receives a phone call but doesn't share with Spencer, Hanna, Aria, or Emily. But that's kind of how it's always been. Ali was always the leader. Playing the girls off each other and keeping secrets on each of them.
Now, Ali is supposedly dead and the girls have all gone their own way.

Hold on to your hats people! Things are getting serious. Like with the previous books in the series, PERFECT picks up the story right where FLAWLESS left off. If you have been disappointed by a book series in the past that dwindled in excitement, be assured that the PRETTY LITTLE LIARS series isn't going to let you down.

When I picked up this book at my library, I expected it to be about these stuck-up girls, kinda like Gossip Girl and the A-List or whatever. Then I started reading it and I read it within an hour, it was that good. It's set up so well and you'll never be able to even GUESS what's going to happen next. It's not predictable, which is one thing I really like about it. It's weird that someone is stalking them. I've read all four and I myself have had my suspicions on who A could be, but I always end...more

I'd probably get bored with this on an intellectual level if I weren't reading it on the bike at the gym, but since I am doing just that, it's perfect.
I do want to say, though: how awful are all the parents in these books? All of them! Like, any one family in this book would be bad enough to be the "issue" in an "issue book" about an unfortunate teen. Emily's gay and has terrible, homophobic parents. Spencer's parents seem to value their kids based only on what prominent, flashy accomplishments...more

Omg, I'm so glad that I went against my gut on buying the first in the series, Pretty Little Liars. I was afraid it would ruin the TV show for me but I believe the book series is so much better.
So much juicer, so many scandals, so much creepier and A can't help but spill the beans faster than the girls can read their text messages. I believe this one is the best- so far. I can not wait to get my hands on the next one, Unbelievable,...more

What did you like about the book and what could have been better?
I liked how the book got a little closer to revealing who “A” was in the Pretty Little Liars series. I liked this book the best out of the three out of the series that I have read because they start putting two and two together and start accusing people which made it very suspenseful. I also liked how “A” started putting out their secrets and started making the girls and even the reader wonder why “A” was tr...more

I'm not even sure how to rate books by Sara Shepard anymore. This book has a lot of problems. It took ages for the plot to really begin. A lot of the book felt like filler. We see the same scene retold at least half a dozen times, and new information is not always revealed. Often, I start to wonder why the girls aren't acting a little more paranoid. The are not actively trying to figure out who A is, and they continually give A new blackmail material. A big portion of the plot deals with repress...more

In this third sequel to the first and second Pretty Little series Aria, Hannah, Spencer and Emily’s lives are more twisted than ever. Between solving the murder case of their friends Alison and figuring out who is sending them these harassing and threatening texts, notes, and emails the girls are in more trouble than ever. First Aria’s new boyfriend has discovered she is secretly sneaking around with Mr. Ftiz, their language arts teacher and had called the cops on him. Hannah best friend Mona ha...more

Honestly... this was another one of those books where I had a hard time getting started on it, because they're so bloody dramatic! If my teenager days had been THIS insane, I don't know how I would have survived it, to be honest... This is the third book in the Pretty Little Liars series, and still, the four girls are haunted by their past. Someone, named A, has been threatening to expose all of their secrets, leaving them anonymous notes to manipulate them into doing his/her bidding. All the wh...more

I am IN LOVE with Sara Shepard’s Pretty Little Liars series, and the third book in the series (after Pretty Little Liars and Flawless) is, well, Perfect. And saying that Perfect is pretty perfect isn’t hard.
This a gossipy, juicy, mystery that has had me at the edge of my seat since the very first page. I watched the tv series, before picking up the books. As a fan of the series, I’ve been very happy to see how well they kept pace with the books. I was actually a little...more

Everything is not what it seems in Rosewood,Pennsylvania, at least not for Hanna, Aria, Spencer and, Emily. In Pretty Little Liars, book three, "Perfect" by Sara Shepard, four rosewood girls are still being stalked and tormented by an unknown person who goes by A. This book Mostly focuses on Spencer Hastings, when Spencer gets so stressed out with school, and a party she "needs" to go to she ends up plaigerizing one of her sister, Melissa's, papers. Then she gets nominated for an award called th...more

In this book, Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily aren’t talking to each other, or as Hanna calls them ex-BFF’s. They have their own lives, and they still have their own problems. The only thing in common with all four of them is that A is still talking to them and threatening them and that they want to figure out who A is. Aria and Hanna’s ex-boyfriend, Sean start dating but then Aria also starts seeing her English teacher Mr. Fitz again. But then, like always A messes up their lives. A sends a pic...more
This book so far out of the three i read, is the BEST BOOK. it is full of drama, action and suspense. in this book, a lot of exciting things happen. starting with spencer hastings, she stole her sister's boyfriends from the pasts, and now her essay that she wrote when she was spencer's age. when spencer turns in this plagirized essay to her teacher, she is nominated for the golden orchid essay competition which is for the top essay writers only. at the end, spencer's mother tells her that she ha...more

thios book was very enriching to me. I enjoyed it very much. there are a series of television shows that are based off of the books. From what i have already read of the series I honestly think that the books are better than the shows althought they are both very enjoyable. In this book all four main characters Aria, Hanna, Emily, and Spencer are being stalked by the infamous A. A is a unknown person who knows all of the girls secrets who only their deceased friend Alison DiLaurentis wouldv'e kn...more
Just when the readers thought Sara Shepard’s series of Pretty Little Liars couldn’t get any better. Sara Shepard showed up again to prove the reader wrong. Perfect is a well written book based on today’s lives of teenage girls. Showing the reader that even in Rosewood, Pennsylvania, the teenage girls have twisted lives and suspenseful lies. When Aria screams out, “Oh my God!” and Emily reveals, “She’s not breathing.” these quotes leave the reader in suspense wanting to know if one of the girls i...more
After breezing through the previous 2 books in this series I was eager to start the next volume. I ended up finishing it in one night, just like I did with the other two. The books are just that good.

Aria's getting kicked out of her house, but luckily her new boyfriend Shaun is there to pick up the pieces. With love like that there's no way she...more
