This is an eclectic anthology. Some of the choices are interesting, they are certainly diverse, and some are excellent. It is hard to maintain that level of excellence across the whole collection, and of, course, some just didn't grab me in a way that other readers may find the stories do. That one of the difficulties, and joys, of putting together an anthology. I recommend it to you. There is certainly something in it for all fans of Spec Fic.

Introducing the anthology "Short and Scary", published by black dog books, which promises “a whole lot of creepy stories and other chilling stuff”. Along with my story (entitled “Destiny Meets Girl”) you’ll find contributions by Carole Wilkinson, Shuan Tan, James Roy, Andy Griffiths, Lili Wilkinson, as well as heaps of surprising gems by new and young writers.

Of course, I'm a little biased, but there are good stories stories in this neat, squat book for children, some sort of scary, some a bit tame.
Re the bias, my story, 'Corn Dolly Dead' is in there too - I think it might come under the list of creepier ones. It even scared me a bit writing it. :)
