Here is a list of all the best alex rider novels.

1- Ark Angel: Since 1979's Moonraker, sending spies up in space was almost a taboo. But in the sixth edition of the AR series, Horowitz has made it sensational to read and even more fantastic to imagine. Major thumbs up, the best!

2- Point Blanc (or Blank, depending where it was released): An ingenious plot. Usually cloning would be a rather overlooked thing, but it was pitched perfectly in this book. Especially the fight at the end, absolute gold!

In the book Ark Angle it was about an English schoolboy who was only 14 years old. He was recruited into the MI6 British secret intelligence; they are sort of like CIA but a British version. The story seems to sort of have 2 different stories to it but it is still one story. In all the books they take place in London the main characters name is Alex Rider, in the begging of the book he tends to all ways make trouble and in the middle of the book he ends up being safe and at the last 40 pages he ...more
Over the summer, I read the book Ark Angel by Anthony Horowitz. This book, in my opinion, is it is superb. I think out of all the other books in the series, this one has been my favorite one not only because of the action but all your questions you may have had in the beginning of the book would surely be answered later on.
Alex Rider is a 14 year-old boy who lives in London and is a spy for MI6. He recently was targeted by Scorpia for dismantling there organization. In the book Ark Angel, Alex
In this book Alex is 14 years old. The book begins with him in the hospital (evidently the fallout from something at the end of book 5). In short order, he's disabled 4 men and then is kidnapped by a 5th while Alex is trying to prevent the kidnapping of the patient in the room next to him. He almost has a finger chopped off, must escape a burning building from a locked room, almost gets killed in a vicious go-cart race, sees the death of a big-time soccer star, has a secret meeting with the CIA, ...more

I'd have given this 2.5 stars if possible, but I have rounded it up to three to be nice. I enjoyed the use of an MRI machine to take out a bad guy, learning the secret behind tightrope walking, and the diving and space scenes. I didn't like how extremely unrealistic this series is becoming, the use of yet another rich, crazy villain and the rushed ending. I thought the book would end with a cliffhanger, with the main action happening in the next book, but in the end the author rushed the scenes ...more
I really enjoyed this book. This is an action packed book that I thought was really good. I don’t like to read, but some parts of this book really interested me. The book starts out with Alex in a hospital room when a terrorist group known as “Force Three”. They come in to the hospital where Alex is recovering from a sniper bullet and he fights them off. He goes and stays with the multibillionaire, Nikolei Drevin, and his son, Paul Drevin. The CIA and MI6 both don’t trust Nickolei and his plans ...more

I first chose this book because of the other Alex Rider books I have read and they were all very good so I thought: "Why not? This is an Alex Rider book so it should be the same." However, my friends that read this book said it was the worst book in the series. That stopped me for a bit but I decided to read it.
When I finished reading this book, I found out that this book wasn't like the other Alex Rider books in the series. This displeased me since it actually was kind of boring and there was
So last week my granddaughter comes home from 5th grade and says "I got you a book from my school library". I explained that I had a lot to read but thanked her for thinking of me. The look on her face was too much (they sure know what buttons to push) so I said that I thought I could work it in. Big print...yes!!!!

Of my two granddaughters, she is NOT my big reader, so I was surprised. Maybe they read it in class, but she couldn't or wouldn't say why this particular book. After my comments left

Recommends it for: 10 y/o or so
This book was okay. I feel like we've seen the evil multibillionare before (hmm . . . Alex seems to have even mentioned a certain Damian Cray in considering Drevin's offer), although the space element was new.

Oh, and what was with Alex's language? I've already read the next book and I feel like Horowitz was trying to make Alex seem mature and cool or whatever. Hey, it just seemed cheesy and lame to me, but maybe I just got tired of reading the three words "single ugly swearword." Honestly. Mayb

Recommends it for: everyone who likes adventurous things.
The book Ark Angel by Anthony Horwitz was a very enjoyable book. The genre of this book is adventure. This book is about a kid named Alex Rider who is fourteen years old and a secret agent for MI6, which is an agency kind of like the CIA or FBI, but in London. While Alex is recovering from a snipers bullet, he saves a billionaires son who is staying at the same hospital as him. After this Alex is offered to stay two weeks with Paul Drevin, the kid Alex saved, and his father. Alex accepts and soo ...more

Alex Rider Ark Angle by Anthony Hotowitz is the sixth book in the Alex Rider series. The series has eight books. Alex Rider Ark Angle and all of the other books are action mystery books. Alex Rider is a fourteen year old who is an undercover spy who works for the special operations in England, MI6. A sniper bullet almost killed him but, at the hospital, he wants to freshen up at night and is kidnapped by eco terrorists, who think he is a billionaires’ dad. Alex Rider is a very brave man but I th

"Ark Angel", by Anthony Horowitz, is yet another book in the Alex Rider series. This series is about a boy who even is young by age, is an advanced undercover agent for M16 for the British Government. In this book, Alex Rider is awake in a hospital in London after being shot by a scout sniper, and is in stable condition. While in the hospital, he notices a group of people attempting to kidnap a boy in the hospital. When Alex tries to help, it leads to a series of multiple unfortunate events. It ...more

I read this book, Ark Angel because I was recommended by my friends to read this book.I also read this because I read other Alex Rider books that was in the series before this one.

I really enjoyed this book because there is a lot of mystery, action, and it's really intense. It has a real life theme to it like things in this book can actually happen in real life.

In this book, it's about a teenage kid name Alex Rider who is a super spy working for MI6 in the UK. In Ark Angel , Alex have to go i
This is the 6th book written by Anthony Horowitz that i have read about Alex Rider. I have so far loved the books so much, but in this book Ark Angel, after Alex is shot in Scorpia he is put in the hospital and a kid beside his room is named Paul Drevin, soon Alex will find out that he is the son of a very famous billionaire Nikolei Drevin. Alex saves Paul when some guys from a group known as Force Three come in and try to capture him. Alex was then knocked out and taken by them instead of Paul. ...more

14 year old spy Alex Rider is recovering from a near death wound in a hospital after a mission for MI6 when his adventure first starts. It was fate that brought him to meet billionaire Nikolei Drevin, when Alex saved his son from a group of assassins from a group called Force Three. But as Alex accepts an offer to stay with them for a week, he realize he's in way over his head when he learns from the CIA that Drevin is not who he says he is. It's up to Alex to see what happens and not let Drevin ...more
I first picked up Ark Angel about five years ago, just when my interest in espionage was beginning to grow. I remember having read a book just before this one that wasn't too interesting to me; I also remember thinking how strange the title of this was, just before checking it out at the library.
Of course, then I read it.
Something absolutely fascinated me about Alex and his amazing adventures as a teenage spy. He got to do amazing things whenever he was sent out on a mission, but no matter the

This book was an outstanding addition to the Alex Rider series. I had previously read The Gatekeepers series also by Anthony Horowitz. He never fails to create a new book. His vast imagination keeps the books more interesting than any others I have read.
In this book of the series, Alex Rider wakes up in his hospital room recovering from a bullet wound obtained in the book #5, Scorpia. The room next door is occupied by Paul Drevin, son of multi-millionaire Nikolei Drevin. Paul is being hunted
I know I say this every time, but this Alex Rider Adventure is the most extreme yet! Travel to outer space? It's just a rocket ride away!

Alex is in the hospital recovering from a bullet wound sustained at the end of the last book. Bored, he decides to go downstairs to talk the desk clerk into allowing him a breath of air. But he gets there in time to find 3 men asking about a patient named Paul Drevin and then shooting the desk clerk. Paul Devin is the son of multi-billionaire Nickolai Drevin, t

This final book was wonderful, I thought that there wasn't going to be another book because in the last one it seemed like Alex was murdered. apparently not. In this final clincher, Alex is back and is in the hosbital suffering from a gun wound, strange people enter the ward and are planning to kill Alex's nextdoor neighbor. running to the rescue Alex's training kicks in and he saves the boy from being killed. the agency reinlist him and he is forced once more to work for them. This sixth volume in the Alex Rider series is pretty much the same as the previous five books: Alex goes out on a mission to save the world and succeeds. Again. And all at the tender age of fourteen. Throw in some cliché characters, a few plot twists and a cliffhanger at the end to keep readers hooked and you’ve got the perfect James Bond knockoff series.

Anthony Horowitz really is a talented writer, especially when it comes to writing action novels, but he seriously needs to tone down the cliché

Ark angel is the sixth book in the Alex rider series. Ark angel is about a boy named Alex Rider. Alex is thirteen and lives in London,England, and his guardian is Jack Starbright. His father died when Alex was 1 year old. He is a spy and works for M16 special operations in London. He has black hair and brown eyes.
In the beginning Alex was shot in the shoulder by a sniper. The sniper was aiming for his heart but when Alex stepped off the curb the bullet hit his shoulder. H
The book Ark Angel is 326 pages long. The author is Anthony Horrowitz. It's a mystery book.

Alex is in the hospital after he got shot. The boy next to him is named Paul Dervin. His dad is a very wealthy man. Alex goes down stairs in the middle of the night and a group of people come in and ask which room Paul is in. Alex goes up stairs and changes the room tag of his and Paul's so the people think Paul is him. When the people come up they see Alex standing there and ask if he is Paul and he says

I have now finished the book and I liked it but it wasn't as good as all the other ones or at least Eagle Strike (my favourite). It was pretty good though I loved how shocked and resistant Alex was when he was told he had to go to space! I knew he would go anyway though! I think that its kind of silly that Alex hates being a spy but every time something seems suspicious, he has to go check it out but if he didn't there would be no story I guess!

Let me make one thing clear, as a young teen, I loved reading the Alex Rider series. Anthony Horowitz provided me with one of the only fiction series that I've been hooked on reading, to the point of pre-ordering each book as they came out. That is, until I read Ark Angel. By this point in the series, Alex Rider has been through a lot and although the 'James Bond' like youth has avoided a deluge of close calls, we're still firmly in belief that it's all been possible. By the middle of Ark Angel ...more
This is one of the best books spy enthusiasts will ever read. Im serious ive been a long term Alex Rider fan for awhile now and this book has espionage and betrayel at evry cover. You won't want to stop reading until the last page. The day you get it (if you get it which I highly reccomend you do) Youll see exactly what I Mean. Reccommended for Ages About 11-18 no Lower though theres a graphic death at the end of the book.

I started reading this book because i kept hearing about this series and it popped up as suggested on the kindle store. The book takes place in England, flamingo bay an island in the Caribbean, and space. the book is taking place around 2005.
The conflict in this book is external. Alex rider and the CIA are trying to figure out what Nikoleia Drevin is doing and stop him from escaping the island. Alex’s job is to tell the CIA when Drevin is trying to escape. He can do this because he was invited

I choose this book because it is the continuation of the Alex Rider series. The book is about a boy, Alex Rider, who saves the life of a boy named Paul Drevin, the son of the world's richest man. Since Alex saved his son, Nikolai Drevin invited Alex to stay with him and his son in a luxury mansion. But is turns out, the richest man is also the world's biggest criminal. My favorite quote is "Alex Rider had been hit by a bullet fired from a .22 rifle." I choose this quote because here again Alex R ...more
Love this book at the beginning but at the end it gets really weird, a very good book!

As the bullet hit Alex was nearly dead but Alex survived. When Alex was in the hospital a couple of kidnappers came to the hospital to steal a no ordinary patient. Alex having the knowledge of M16 uses his ability to save the boy. And when Alex gets mistaken for Paul, he gets kidnapped instead. When Alex finally awakes he is horrified to find himself locked up in a room. Finally when Alex brakes free he finds the buildings on fire. He then takes two buckets of cement ties them to a stick and wa ...more
