Here is a list of all the best alex rider novels.

1- Ark Angel: Since 1979's Moonraker, sending spies up in space was almost a taboo. But in the sixth edition of the AR series, Horowitz has made it sensational to read and even more fantastic to imagine. Major thumbs up, the best!

2- Point Blanc (or Blank, depending where it was released): An ingenious plot. Usually cloning would be a rather overlooked thing, but it was pitched perfectly in this book. Especially the fight at the end, absolute gold!...more

In the book Ark Angle it was about an English schoolboy who was only 14 years old. He was recruited into the MI6 British secret intelligence; they are sort of like CIA but a British version. The story seems to sort of have 2 different stories to it but it is still one story. In all the books they take place in London the main characters name is Alex Rider, in the begging of the book he tends to all ways make trouble and in the middle of the book he ends up being safe and at the last 40 pages he...more

Over the summer, I read the book Ark Angel by Anthony Horowitz. This book, in my opinion, is it is superb. I think out of all the other books in the series, this one has been my favorite one not only because of the action but all your questions you may have had in the beginning of the book would surely be answered later on.
Alex Rider is a 14 year-old boy who lives in London and is a spy for MI6. He recently was targeted by Scorpia for dismantling there organization. In the book Ark Angel, Alex...more

In this book Alex is 14 years old. The book begins with him in the hospital (evidently the fallout from something at the end of book 5). In short order, he's disabled 4 men and then is kidnapped by a 5th while Alex is trying to prevent the kidnapping of the patient in the room next to him. He almost has a finger chopped off, must escape a burning building from a locked room, almost gets killed in a vicious go-cart race, sees the death of a big-time soccer star, has a secret meeting with the CIA,...more

I really enjoyed this book. This is an action packed book that I thought was really good. I don’t like to read, but some parts of this book really interested me. The book starts out with Alex in a hospital room when a terrorist group known as “Force Three”. They come in to the hospital where Alex is recovering from a sniper bullet and he fights them off. He goes and stays with the multibillionaire, Nikolei Drevin, and his son, Paul Drevin. The CIA and MI6 both don’t trust Nickolei and his plans...more

So last week my granddaughter comes home from 5th grade and says "I got you a book from my school library". I explained that I had a lot to read but thanked her for thinking of me. The look on her face was too much (they sure know what buttons to push) so I said that I thought I could work it in. Big print...yes!!!!

Of my two granddaughters, she is NOT my big reader, so I was surprised. Maybe they read it in class, but she couldn't or wouldn't say why this particular book. After my comments left...more

This book was okay. I feel like we've seen the evil multibillionare before (hmm . . . Alex seems to have even mentioned a certain Damian Cray in considering Drevin's offer), although the space element was new.

Oh, and what was with Alex's language? I've already read the next book and I feel like Horowitz was trying to make Alex seem mature and cool or whatever. Hey, it just seemed cheesy and lame to me, but maybe I just got tired of reading the three words "single ugly swearword." Honestly. Mayb...more

The book Ark Angel by Anthony Horwitz was a very enjoyable book. The genre of this book is adventure. This book is about a kid named Alex Rider who is fourteen years old and a secret agent for MI6, which is an agency kind of like the CIA or FBI, but in London. While Alex is recovering from a snipers bullet, he saves a billionaires son who is staying at the same hospital as him. After this Alex is offered to stay two weeks with Paul Drevin, the kid Alex saved, and his father. Alex accepts and soo...more

Alex Rider Ark Angle by Anthony Hotowitz is the sixth book in the Alex Rider series. The series has eight books. Alex Rider Ark Angle and all of the other books are action mystery books. Alex Rider is a fourteen year old who is an undercover spy who works for the special operations in England, MI6. A sniper bullet almost killed him but, at the hospital, he wants to freshen up at night and is kidnapped by eco terrorists, who think he is a billionaires’ dad. Alex Rider is a very brave man but I th...more

"Ark Angel", by Anthony Horowitz, is yet another book in the Alex Rider series. This series is about a boy who even is young by age, is an advanced undercover agent for M16 for the British Government. In this book, Alex Rider is awake in a hospital in London after being shot by a scout sniper, and is in stable condition. While in the hospital, he notices a group of people attempting to kidnap a boy in the hospital. When Alex tries to help, it leads to a series of multiple unfortunate events. It...more

I'd have given this 2.5 stars if possible, but I have rounded it up to three to be nice. I enjoyed the use of an MRI machine to take out a bad guy, learning the secret behind tightrope walking, and the diving and space scenes. I didn't like how extremely unrealistic this series is becoming, the use of yet another rich, crazy villain and the rushed ending. I thought the book would end with a cliffhanger, with the main action happening in the next book, but in the end the author rushed the scenes...more

This final book was wonderful, I thought that there wasn't going to be another book because in the last one it seemed like Alex was murdered. apparently not. In this final clincher, Alex is back and is in the hosbital suffering from a gun wound, strange people enter the ward and are planning to kill Alex's nextdoor neighbor. running to the rescue Alex's training kicks in and he saves the boy from being killed. the agency reinlist him and he is forced once more to work for them. Finding a plot on...more

This sixth volume in the Alex Rider series is pretty much the same as the previous five books: Alex goes out on a mission to save the world and succeeds. Again. And all at the tender age of fourteen. Throw in some cliché characters, a few plot twists and a cliffhanger at the end to keep readers hooked and you’ve got the perfect James Bond knockoff series.

Anthony Horowitz really is a talented writer, especially when it comes to writing action novels, but he seriously needs to tone down the cliché...more

I have now finished the book and I liked it but it wasn't as good as all the other ones or at least Eagle Strike (my favourite). It was pretty good though I loved how shocked and resistant Alex was when he was told he had to go to space! I knew he would go anyway though! I think that its kind of silly that Alex hates being a spy but every time something seems suspicious, he has to go check it out but if he didn't there would be no story I guess!

This is one of the best books spy enthusiasts will ever read. Im serious ive been a long term Alex Rider fan for awhile now and this book has espionage and betrayel at evry cover. You won't want to stop reading until the last page. The day you get it (if you get it which I highly reccomend you do) Youll see exactly what I Mean. Reccommended for Ages About 11-18 no Lower though theres a graphic death at the end of the book.

I choose this book because it is the continuation of the Alex Rider series. The book is about a boy, Alex Rider, who saves the life of a boy named Paul Drevin, the son of the world's richest man. Since Alex saved his son, Nikolai Drevin invited Alex to stay with him and his son in a luxury mansion. But is turns out, the richest man is also the world's biggest criminal. My favorite quote is "Alex Rider had been hit by a bullet fired from a .22 rifle." I choose this quote because here again Alex R...more

This book is the sixth book in the series. I liked this book a lot. It didn't have much background on Alex like some of the other books, but it was still good.

Setting: London, New York, but mostly an island in the Caribbean after recovering from getting shot

Characters:
Alex Rider- The main character spy who works for MI6
Nikolei Vladimir Drevin- Evil millionaire who is a criminal
Tamara Knight-CIA agent who was undercover
Paul Drevin- Nikolei's son who gets close to Alex.
Magnus Payne- Guy who...more

I chose this book because I thought the other books in the series were really god so i wanted to read the next book. the plot of Ark Angle is about the multimillionaire Nikolai Dervin who is trying to wipe out great Britain world by launching a hotel in space and then crashing it down to earth on England to destroy it and in the process even hurts his own son to reach is goal. my favorite quot was, “Your temperature's normal, though I'd say it's the only thing about you that is.”, I like this qu...more

This book was very very thrilling. I have read the entire series, and I love them all. Anthony Horowitz is my favorite author and I like all of his books. My favorite is the Alex Rider series. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves action packed thrillers.

A return to recreational reading for my 9th grader. I had to tell him to turn out the lights. High school homework has really killed the opportunity for recreational reading... and it is only recreational when it is a book he loves, otherwise torture.

As with all of the Alex Rider books, Anthony Horowitz truly outdoes himself again. Everything is in such great detail. The plot is horrifying it is so good. I bet every boy in the world wishes he was Alex Rider. He gets to go on top secret adventures against evil maniacs trying to kill off the world. What could be better? Well, he does endure quite a bit of pain if you ask me. Getting beaten around all the time is not the most fun in the world. This book will keep you buying bandages for your na...more

So this book is about Alex Rider, a fourteen year old super spy. He is a MI6 operative, and has had years of experience in the office. (So, no spoilers, but Alex is hurt at the beginning of the book) In this hospital, during a late night walk, he notices a group of men with guns, about t abduct this kid, so Alex stops them. turns out, the kids dad is one of the worlds richest men. The billionaires son gets kidnapped and Alex is chosen to protect the boy from the Eco-Terrorist group, 'Force Three...more

In the book "Ark Angel" Alex had been walking throughout the streets, when a sniper took a shot on him. Luckily the bullet didn't hit him in the heart, but sent him to the hospital for a long time. While he was there, a group of mafia people tried to take this one kid named "Paul". Alex defended the kid and they went after him. Since he did the good deed, he was chosen to stay at their mansion on an island. Then Alex found out that the dad was a murderer and did very bad things. The CIA hired Al...more

Do you believe in miracles? Well for 14 year old Alex they happen a lot. As soon as the sniper took his shot he stepped onto the street from the curb. Which made the bullet hit him half an inch higher instead of hitting him in the heart but still hits his subclavian artery which carries blood from the top of the lung into the arm. Now Alex is in a hospital with the Paul Drevin son of one of the richest men in the world. in the room right next to him with appendicitis, with complication...more
