Brian Tracy is like Taco Bell-- same ingredients every time, but it's in a different shell. This book is no exception. If you're read his stuff before, this is more of the same. Still worth reading though as going through it multiple times will really help you to incorporate it into your life.
And if you haven't read any Brian Tracy stuff, this book covers:
- ways to avoid procrastination
- ways to improve family relationships and friendships
- ways to get more ...more

Maksudnya jikalau kita berusaha, kita pasti menemui kejayaan. Say...more
This book was a strange combination of really practical application of virtue and crazy modernist ideas via "The Secret." Brian Tracy applies the virtue of self-discipline to all areas of life in very practical ways. He definitely challenged me to start taking responsibility for my life and for how I respond to things that happen to me. However, he also seems to believe that "whatever you think about the most will become your reality." He claims, for example, that the discipl...more
I really like Brian Tracy and most of his books are written with short snippets and are easily read. I felt like this was mostly a re-hashing of his advice just put in the context of self-discipline. While it was somewhat inspiring, I didn't feel it added anything new, nor did it have easily to implement advice.
Mandatory reading from the CEO. It appears he bought a copy for everyone in executive management mostly because he liked the chapter on time management. Which I didn't know at first, and I spent some time wondering what kind of message he was trying to send me.
Anyway, it's your basic "try really hard and you can be successful just like me--oh, wait, I make most of my money writing books like this, not doing the kind of job you have".

I like Brian Tracy, but this book is recycled advice filled with ludicrous, misplaced examples. Eat That Frog is a MUCH better book by the same author.
Great condensed and expressive knowledge. Easy to read, easy to do ... if one is persistent enough to follow the advices given.
Killing procrastination does take more than a book, this one how ever was quite good!
I love how motivating this book is
excellent info as usual
Nothing I haven't heard before, but it's a great reminder. I feel more focused now and ready to conquer some short term goals.
There is a fair amount of dated material including the section on Leadership where he defines a leader as the job position above manager and his explanation that it takes a lot of money to start a business that will not likely be possible until the third year. I thought I was reading a book from the 80's.
Despite this criticism there is plenty of practical and useful tips that could change my life if I followed them, but the book isn't set up to help the reader make these changes.

Not bad, but I much prefer Tracy's 'Eat That Frog' and 'Goals', which are both smart, succinct and motivating.
Though provoking, an excellent guide for building a strong, successful career and life.
Nothing new to one who read "Maximum Achievement".
