[These notes were made in 1989:]. A "cheap" edition, combining four of Sayers' plays: The Devil to Pay, The Just Vengeance, He That Should Come, and The Zeal of Thy House, which seems a highly substantial crop for 4/6! Of the four, The Just Vengeance, an occasional piece for Lichfield Cathedral, left the least impression, although its premise - that it all takes place during the moment of an airman's death - is striking enough.
