Warrior Woman,
I cannot explain the powerful magic that carried me back across the centuries to you. In my own time, I am but an actor on the screen. Yet here I stand, curiously at home in a primitive age—a Viking
jarl, miraculously resurrected from the flames of oblivion. And you are my destiny, my wild and beautiful Valkyrie. You hide your pain and sadness behind a mask o

My Thoughts
Okay so... here's the background story. So I was watching television one night, minding my own business, and I saw a commercial in which Fabio walked on the set, twinkling smile. I giggled thinking 'aw, Fabio', and then stopped and asked myself, 'Ya know, I know who Fabio is... I've seen him on commercials for 'I can't believe it's not butter!' when I was a kid, but what the heck did Fabio do to get famous? That part was a bit fuzzy. I got the whole 'sex symbol' vibe, but didn't know
This book was the backup to Pirate, just in case that one wasn't frightening enough.
Bought this as a joke for a friend. She was so horrified that she actually gave it BACK to me and forced me to read it.
I will never be able to scrub my brain free of the taint. I could have gotten beyond the bad writing, the horribly contrived plot, even the bad character developmental....
Oh, who am I kidding, no I couldn't. I got a couple of chapters in and had to completely give up any hope of having any sort of sympathy for the characters. I pretty much gave up after the line, "nay, nay you
Jenny Thompson
"For here was a woman without career objectives who could give him the babies he so dearly wanted" is an actual line from the book. A completely unironic line.

That probably tells you everything you need to know.

To justify giving the book two stars rather than one, all I can say is that its very existence made me laugh a lot. In fact, I am still sort of laughing about it.
Anthony Ventrello
I have loved all of Fabio's historical romance novels, and this one was no exception. I could tell that Fabio went to great pains to research the time period the book was set in and the vivid details given made the book come alive. Would make a GREAT movie.
Makes me want to go back in time into a new life with a hot sexy man that can tame me.
Bad, bad, baddy bad. I skimmed the last half of the book.

Oh, but of you are the person who gave me the book (and you know who you are), it's great! You'll love it! Here, let me give you my copy so you can get started right away! :D
Nice story with good charm... I imagine myself living during the time of the Vikings and whooaaa I think I want to go back this period. This is the first book that I read so I keep on reading his books.
i love the fabio series, complete fluff, predictable stories and juicy sex scenes, everything a truly great "i need some escapism and fun" bodice ripper needs
I guess I've read worse things than this, but I can't recall when. :P
Isnt he just all MAN!!!
