What a beautiful book! Starting with the cover, which I think is amazing, and throughout the whole story, the one word that came back to me as I read it was "beautiful".

Evans's desperation to find work because he needs Writer's Guild health insurance, his loyalty to his sister despite all the disappointments she's put him through and his longing to be back with his new lover Mio caught me from the very start. When Evans got to Barcelona and found out what Mio really does for a living I could hav...more

I adore this author's books and this one blew my socks into the next room. The passion, romance and Hollywood inside info were a great treat. I now want to go to Barcelona!
I liked this book better than the last book I read from A.J. Best of all - the things you do will come back to you - one way or the other - and I liked that it happened in this book.

This was not a romantic tale in the traditional sense, or rather the typical M/M sense, but the main character was well-developed so it was easy and fun to follow him on his journey. There was a lot of sex throughout, but unfortunately it wasn’t sex that I was able to connect with m...more

I found the book kind of passionless, not what I expected after other books I read from this author

A.J. Llewellyn lives in California, but dreams of living in Hawaii. Frequent trips to all the islands, bags of Kona coffee in the fridge and a healthy collection of Hawaiian records keep this writer refueled.

A.J’s passion for the islands led to writing a play about the last ruling monarch of Hawaii, Queen Lili’uokalani as well as a non-erotic novel about the overthrow of her kingdom written in dia...more
