This will work well in a toddler storytime. It's also a good beginner book. The Sesame characters will appeal to children who watch the show. But note this is "old school" Sesame Street, not new Sesame Street (aka "that Elmo show"). In fact, the cover illustration of the copy I read had Big Bird holding a giant stack of books with Slimey on top. (NOT Elmo on the cover.)
