I received this book free through a Goodreads First Reads giveaway. A great book. I loved this one. Well written and developed. A page turner for sure. What more could you ask for in a book; there is romance, mystery, love scene (which are very tastefully written and not too risky), and a man in uniform helping safe Lily. Funny, sweet and romantic.

Had a bit of Susan Elizabeth Phillips (who I love) small town craziness feel to it.

Very sassy and laugh-out-loud funny--very much in the tradition of Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I LOVED the lead characters--both flawed, but extremely human and smart and deeply sympathetic. Great quirky small town, smart suspense subplot, very witty writing. I can't believe more people haven't found this book yet. Kelly Fitzpatrick is one to watch!!

I get tired of the same thing after a while but now I know why it works so well. Turn the tables around, and if not done correctly, you get an irritating heroine. Lily, uncertain of staying with Toby, even though she finally "caught" him is infuriating. Also, saying I love you af...more
