Wonderfully written romance novel, plush in setting and dialogue, stems around a young man (who I pictured as a mature fisherman...up in age, soft on the inside but hard around the edges); and a malleable woman... easygoing all the way around, despite her internal fervor captured as being one `somewhat' not afraid to live ahead in prudent times... when your car windows were washed at the gas station while your gas was being pumped, and aptitude tests that included a `reading comprehension' part, ...more
This was an interesting read. I wasn't sure what to expect since the background is that the author hypnotizes her boyfriend, and discovers, through numerous sessions, that he has a past life. Most of the details described in the sessions have been verified, which is just a fascinating aspect of the story by itself. At the end of the book, the author, Susie Schecter, includes documents which authenticate the information she was provided by her boyfriend.

OK so I enjoyed the book; I liked how the author included the reason why she wrote the book...however, there was nothing in story line about either one of the characters having memories of past lives, etc. I was hoping for more of that.

I was absolutely enthralled by this book. The author skillfully weaves a fictional story around a well documented past life event. I couldn't put it down! Recommend!
