Disclosing my bias right away: I love hedgehogs. So, I think the book gets an extra star just because it features hedgehogs and the illustrations are so gosh darn cute! The story itself is fine, but nothing special. Little Hedgehog takes care of his cousin Baby Hedgehog while Mama Hedgehog is away helping a sick friend. They go searching for bluebells with badger, fox and mouse. And Baby brings along his special blanket. Grumpy Fox snears at the blankie at first, but when mouse falls into a bit ...more
A very sweet children's book. Lovely illustrations of a little hedgehog and his cousin Baby hedgehog and their friends and the trusty blankie. Children and adults won't be able to resist.
A sweet, but forgettable story filled with the most adorable illustrations. My five-year old daughter was captured by the cuteness. The touch-and-feel aspect to the blanket was a bonus.

Unfortunately, there were too many characters, all cute, mind you, but not one had an interesting name or personality. Saying Little Hedgehog over and over became monotonous for me as the reader.

Cute? Absolutely!
Read again? My daughter might want to admire the pictures time and again.

A very sweet book.

Little hedgehog is asked if he can watch his cousin baby hedgehog while he goes out with his friends to look for bluebells. His friends and both hedgehogs end up having a grand day of adventures when baby hedgehog loses his blanket and they have to find it, and when they rescue their friend mouse. They do eventually find the bluebells and they have had a great day.
The pictures are cute. And the blanket is soft and its nice to have the touch-and-feel aspect to the book. The story was all right. I suppose a young child (especially one attached to their blanket) might enjoy seeing their blanket help save the day.
this was a cute little story. Little Hedgehog agrees to take care of Baby Hedgehog. his friends aren't so thrilled about having Baby and his blankie tag along, but when one of them gets into trouble, it's Baby & the blankie who save the day!
