Conrad's First Girl is a free read and preview to 'Abduction'. I had never readVarian Krylov but always invite rare opportunity to read new authors and I am very excited when I really like them!

In this story it is told from the determined, calculating perspective of a predator and the frailty of a submissive. Keeping in mind her invitation to his advances was her submissiveness nature. Like blood in the water he scented and picked her out. When she did not scream bloody murder when he took advan

Recommends it for: anyone who enjoys Erotic short stories
I stumbled across this book and several others for free on Smashwords.
This was very well written and thought out for an Erotic short story. I did not realize while reading this story that it was a prequel to “Abduction” as the story stands on its own very well. It does make me kind of eager to read Abduction though just to find out what the hell is going through Conrad’s head. He is one of the most bizarre people I've read about! Even though he never harms Elsie or forces her to do anything (she
As with all Varian Krylov the writing is amazing, the only reason it didn't get five stars is because of Abduction. In that book Conrad is a sort of perverse "sexual savior" and I was hungry to find out more about him, so I would have like this prequel to have detailed some reasons of how Conrad came to be Conrad, rather than simply providing us with another example of him taking another girl.
Don't get me wrong it's still a great story but because Krylov creates these wonderful characters it jus
This book was only 40 something pages. I read it in less than 15 minutes. I think the author is a good writer, but the guy in the book is not likeable at all. He is extremely condescending, and the girl he is with just takes it....Ummmm....Hello, can you say self-esteem issues?

A very quick read, but it was interesting to see Conrad outside of main storyline from Abduction!! I wished it was longer and had some of his POV, but otherwise hot dam he got me all worked up.

HOLY HELL! My first by this author and not my last even this week for sure. Brilliant! Smart, dirty, and HOT HOT HOT!

I absolutely loved Abducted and couldn't wait to read this. I was hoping to find out why Conrad was the way he was. Unfortunately this book doesn't give you any real back story on Conrad. Although I was a bit disappointed in that, I still enjoyed reading it. I love sick and twisted individuals and that is most definitely Conrad.

Elsie was the epitome of shyness and she didn’t stand a chance against the interests and advances of the stranger with the smile and British accent. Her average appearance defeated her desire to compete in the world around her and she felt that her destiny lay in obscurity. Conrad transformed her into a fragile, fragrant rose of desire. Conrad’s bedside manner, in my opinion, leaves much to be desired but I’m not Elsie. She was helpless to resist and fell under his spell despite his crude and ru ...more

Dark erotica and very well written. Conrad has found the perfect victim in Elsie. She is an innocent blushing virgin and he experiences perverse enjoyment by humiliating and embarrassing her sexually. I found myself afraid for Elsie and yet the scenes were so erotic, I wanted more. This was a very short prequel to Abduction
I stumbled across this free as a read as a prequel to Abduction the book is very short it took me about 15 smoking hot minutes to read and left me running to the shower to cool down!

It was erotic, dark, and very intense – Conrad left me wanting more!

Can’t wait to start Abduction!

This was a very short story and honestly, I was quite befuddled. Was this supposed to be porn without a plot? I just couldn't get into it. I'm hoping his other story is better because just as I'm starting to get into the story, it ends!

I need more.

I'm off to buy Abduction.

I need more.

I enjoyed Varian's use of words, it was like standing in the room and watching everything go on right before me.

This book was so annoying. After (almost) every sentence Conrad would repeat Elsie's name. I just wanted to smack him in the head.
Good very short novella, but now on to Abduction.
Whew! Dark, erotic, raw, gritty. Awesome read!

Almost 4 stars.

This novella is a pre-quel to Varian Krylov's Abduction.

I won't go into full detail with this one since it is a novella.

I've never read anything like this before.....This book is not for the faint of heart. There is a lot of sex, some forced sex scenes and a game of cat and mouse that can be a bit rough. If you can't handle that, then step away from the book now.

We get a taste for what's to come in Abduction with this story. I have not read anything by Varian before this but I
Conrad’s First Girl by Varian Krylov

I liked this story despite the fact that I didn’t like Conrad or should I say in spite of not liking Conrad. This was my first read by this author who I knew nothing about including gender. The first couple of paragraphs in I thought ‘cocky much’ and is this writer a man. I say this not a bad way but because it has been my experience when male authors write the dialog, the men in stories have a tendency to be more…more…(insert word here):) LOL Then I found out

Interesting. I always figured that degradation is a huge turn-off for me, but apparently not. Or maybe I liked it because the situations where Elsie felt humiliated wouldn't have been humiliating if she wasn't that innocent.

What I liked about this short read especially was that Krylov proved that you can write a steamy story without actual intercourse. In fact, the lack of it added to the unconventional vibe I found both refreshing and exciting.

The whole book, including the sex scenes, was very
This is the prequel to Varian Krylov's Abduction, which I had looked at previously and based on the description decided not to read, but after having read the prequel I've changed my mind.
Conrad's First Girl is the story of an experienced man who finds and seduces a twenty year old innocent virgin, through callous manipulation and has her submit to him sexually.
The characters are skilfully written, as well as the mental control Conrad exerts over the young woman. This is a true story of dominati

I wanted to know more about Conrad, is he a sociopath? He appears to be here, but in Abduction it seemed like he had genuine feelings. I know I'm being bratty, but open-endedness is not a love of mine, haha!

So I guess Conrad is planning on kidnapping girls and breaking in his own sex slave (apparently this is the prequel to another book, called ABDUCTION). Also, I find it hilarious (not ha-ha hilarious, but oh my god, what the fuck are you doing hilarious) that all these abductors and posterboys for Megan's Law are always good-looking in these stories. I'm not sure if you ever actually have made use of Megan's Law and looked up the

If you fellas can remember how you felt the first time you read a dirty story in Playboy, Hustler,(Mayfair for those of you who grew up in England) at age 12 or 13 and read things for the first time you never thought could be done, or would be done by you. Well, 30 plus years later, I pretty much just read the same thing, sans the hard on. Let me say this...I am a huge, huge, huge, huge, HUGE fan of the ACT of foreplay. Reading about it Ad nauseam...not so much. Bare in mind that this review is ...more

This is a prequel to Varian Krylov's bestselling "Abduction." When I read it I didn't even know this information!
It was a book I found for free on Smashwords.

Conrad's woos a virgin and seduces her without even touching her or forcing her. Everything she does is of her own free will but he is having her come for more. An erotic short story that makes you wonder what would happen next.

Now that I know that this is a prequel, I'm interested in reading Abduction to see what happens with Conrad, sinc

I guess when I read this I thought it was going to be more about what Conrad's thoughts were. NOPE!!! I wanted some insight on what he had been thinking, I know the book explains it was a pre-lude about his first girl, I just thought it would be his thoughts. NOPE! I honestly thought there was supposed to be a book about his thoughts, I wanted to know what all was going on in Abducted and why he left so abruptly. I knew this book wasn't going to be long enough for that, I was just hopeful to get ...more
This is a very short story and a prelude to Abduction. I actually think Conrad is a little scarier in this short story than in the very long Abduction. Much colder. This book basically just gives you an idea of what type of person Conrad really is - we don't get much information about his private life in Abduction. I liked it. I read it first and was glad I did but it isn't necessary to read first.
A short read .. Small intro into the life of a young girl Elsie ** a virgin ** who meets a man ** Conrad* at a coffee shop, he thrills her and leads her astray. showing her what she has been missing as far as foreplay goes and sex mabye to come later. She is intrigued and continues to see Conrad.

Left hanging at the end. Was an ok read. Has potential to be a great story if it should be continued, erotic scenes and foreplay, free read from smashreads to see what the authors writing was like.

& then what? is all I kept thinking about.
Not too sure on this one. It was interesting, but not my cup of tea. It was definitely not romantic, which I guess it is the reason I didn't enjoy it. It wasn't bad, but not for me.

Conrad is a person void from all emotions. Though he can be misinterpreted, the only way to know him is behind closed doors. Elsie seemed to like his manner despite of how uncomfortable he continues to make her feel.

Since her girlhood in a sunny coastal town in California, Varian Krylov has nurtured a love of words and a curiosity about the deep, dark forces at work in human nature, especially sexuality, and how they often paradoxically twine with our tenderest impulses. Her stories tend to explore the sometimes fine line between what arouses, and what frightens, what we’re driven to, and what we’re ashamed o ...more
