When reading the cover, I just knew this was going to be one of the saddest books ever but Mitchell's sense of humor throughout this story keeps you laughing. All of the characters are richly developed. Death is often times very difficult to deal with but Kate's journey with her children is family is a story well told. I will definitely read more of Mitchell's work. I recommend her work to anyone looking for a great relatable story!
