The Nativity Story retold in modern English -- I must admit that I perfer the King James version of the text even if it isn't as easy to understand.

This story contains a child-accessible version of the Nativity Story as told in the Gospels of Luke and Matthew, accompanied by bright simple pictures. The Story of Christmas is great for toddlers. An even simpler version to share with small children would be Baby Jesus.
