I have to say that I think this book is a prime example of how a cover can just reach out and grab someone, from its place upon the shelf. One delightful afternoon, as I was browsing the shelves and tables of Barnes and Noble, my eyes landed upon this book, A Christmas Gift. I had not heard of this exact book nor the author previously, but the beautiful cover simply called out to me to pick it up. Of course I had to listen, lol. This book was a quick, fun read. I enjoyed it even though I felt like the ending was a little disappointing. It seemed like the authors were just ready for the story to be over and cut it off. I also had a little trouble getting into the little girls "visions" of her great grandmother. Still a good read though!
I love books on Christmas espcially when it shows goodwill. I would recommend this book to others who love books which focus on people and their stories during the Christmas holidays. This gift is worth reading to find out what was the gift.
