This book loses a star for formatting. It looks like a poorly-formatted Word document printed out and bound. Plain Times New Roman font on bright white paper hurts my eyes! And the full page justification really mangles some of the text.

The agile librarian of the title is an ideal, not a real person. Throughout the book, the reader can pick up some nice "stock phrases" to use with patrons, coworkers, directors, trustees in order to educate them about library services and demonstrate our value, a...more
