I got this book after doing a search and finding it on Amazon and noticed it had been given a 5 star rating by Midwest Book Review and a member of the Florida Writers Association. I ordered this book because I thought the story sounded interesting. And, while the story still sounds interesting, the writing is subpar. I'm only on page 6 and I'm having a hard time convincing myself that I should keep reading.

I'm still plugging away at this book. The story is improving and is distracting me from some of the grammatical issues and typos.
