the plot thickens... and thickens... very cool also to see the cast from X turn up. Fuma! (which reminds me i really must finish reading X - although this is probably the most narrative closure we're likely to get.)

btw, in the omake, Mokona's line "pork buns (manju) are scary!" is a reference to a well-known rakugo (traditional story-telling or, as i've seen it described, sit-down comedy) in which a group of friends are talking about what they find scary. one of them says that manju terrify him.
Things are getting intense in this volume!

The travellers arrive in a desolate country, where everything has been destroyed and eroded by acid rain. Under the onlytwo remaining buildings is some clean water, which is fought over my different factions.

It's really nice to see some more depth in the character development. Fye and Syaoran are becoming much shadier, while Kurogane and Sakura remain rather innocent (if you can use that word to describe Kurogane). Fye's past remains a mystery, but I h

Excellent turn of events. Suspense builds as things just keep going wrong. The stakes are raised drastically and it encourages the involvement of the reader.

Awwww man, shit's about to go down! :o

2) What's with the Syaoran look-alike?? Why is he going to Syaoran?! How has he been able to take control of our hero? WHY DID THE SPACE-TIME WITCH AGREE TO SEND HIM THERE?!?
3) Fai. Dude, I don't know what your damage is, but according to Kurogane, you have some. So whatever it is, get your act together because the team needs you.

Ggggggghhh I have to wait to read vo

All sorts of crazy happened at the end of this volume. Not quite sure what's going on, but I really enjoyed the Dystopian Tokyo that the travelers are in right now.

The whole world, the setting was so creepy, all apocalyptic and a bit Dune like. It made me wonder what Kamui was waiting for so patiently the whole time, the way he refused to budge away from the underground water source. And the other!Syaoran appeared again. So freakishly terrifying with his stone cold attitude.
An introduction to the dystopian "Tokyo" the travelers find themselves in. We learn about the acid rain wearing away the natural world and the buildings, except for two buildings. There is a conversation between Fai and Kurogane -- more like questions-and-evaded-answers -- which hints at Fai's background.

The gang has stumbled into a world that is being eaten alive by acid rain. Sakura's feather lurks beneath the chemically altered surface, but with Sakura down for the count and Syaoran's sudden turns, will the gang be able to find it - or survive - in this new world?
please when you read this i just want to say that you should go no further if you like things how they are right now. because in the next volume things will never be the same again......
Ooh, more stuff about Fai! Squee!

Also, I love that, after Kurogane starts asking serious questions about Fai, Fai stars using "-sama" to address him, at least when they're alone.
Dec 2013 - The real fun is just starting...dun dun dun
shocked with the ending and who Syaoran is, it's getting intense.
[Ch. 109-116]

I think this is the most excited about the next chapter I've ever been.

Recommends it for: manga lovers
They're wondering why the people there care so much about water.Syaoran has a so-called twin and he is almost "awake".

Same deal with xxxholic. Stopped reading because it felt like the series was closing too fast, didn't want it to end.
X cameos (I really hated the art on that series) and finally some hints at what's going on behind the scenes.
Love the art and writing style of Clamp. Must read for manga and fantasy lovers.
This isn't a bad volume, just slower paced and increasingly hopeless seeming. :(

Syaoran awakens. The dream must end. He's off to his right eye.
I can't give up! I love Shoaran and Sakura!
