I was first introduced to HP when I was working as a grade school tutor.1998-2000.
I came back from Winter break and every kid in one class had a HP COS book on his or her desk.
I thought it was a class read. Meaning that the class was required to read it.
HOW WRONG I WAS!It would touch BILLIONS world wide.
The biggest impact I felt that made that statement true was when I finally got my HALF BLOOD PRINCE, I had ordered 2 copies on line and avoided the store rush.

Ever since finishing the last page of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," I have been enjoying a secret, guilty pleasure: going back to Book 1 and listening to the whole series as narrated by Jim Dale. It is a wonderful treat. He is such a master of voices that it is easy to forget he is one person.

This books is very imaginative. When you read it, you can imagine that you're inside the world of Harry Potter. This book can improve reader's imagination.
When you read Harry Potter (1-5) but you're not using your imagination then there's no fun I think. And if you haven't watch the Harry Potter movies, I suggest you finnish the book first then you watch the movie...

Haven't read this particular boxed set (I got all the books separately) just thought this was an easier way to get the first five which I think are my favorite there is no explanation needed you all know how great Harry Potter and J.K. Rowling are if not than you have been living in a cave if for some strange reason such as that that you haven't read the Harry Potters GET STARTED!!!!!!!!!!

First three books, excellent. Fourth book not bad, a little winded in the beginning, fifth book things really start to get juicy. I really like the harry potter series, but i did notice in the later books the details sort of tend to get carried away with themselves. I heard it best put, "i dunno after they start spanning 500 pages it just seems a little over indulgent.

Kesemuanya adalah buku yang hebat!
Sampai saat ini, aku masih kagum dengan khayalan JK Rowling dalam membentuk tokoh serta setting di dalam Harry Potter. Terasa begitu nyata dan hidup. Dan, tokoh2 baiknya bukan hanya tokoh baik yang hebat dan keren saja. Tapi, mereka juga memiliki hati & perasaan, yang kadang bisa egois, sombong, iri, dan lain-lain.

I resisted the masses for such a long time, but finally gave in around the time that Book 5 came out. I was pleasantly surprised how entertaining the world of Harry Potter really was. It was a nice escape from the trials of my own life at the time. I am not a Harry Potter fanatic, but I am a fan of the books.

I read books 1-7. Fun series, the first few were poorly written, but they got exponentially better as you get into the later ones. I actually cried at the part when the Phoenix sings after Dubmbledore dies. I don't see what Christians complain about. There's nothing really blasphemous in it.

I love Harry Potter and everything that Harry himself stands for. So many great topics are brought up in the series such as loyalty,love, and discrimination.
I really be sad when the 7th book comes out this summer!

This series is my second best, but i don't know why people have a problem with it. Others think it's crap and too complex but i enjoyed it. I'm a sucker for a good fantasy lol. I dont think anyone can beat this.
