Good introduction to the cyclical nature of the universe, and how sometimes it seems that nothing we do ever makes a difference in the world ultimately. The fox is just waiting for you past the worms, no matter how the other animals get involved on your behalf. Give up now, or break the cycle.

Rabbit has trouble delivering a birthday card to his fellow rabbits, but with the help of his other animal friends, he is able to retrace his steps and find the card! This is a great book to help introduce counting forwards and backwards to kids. It has cute, bright illustrations and fun, rhyming text.

I like the repetitive quality. I can see reading this with a really young one for predictability and the interactivity of the flip-out diecut pages is great!

Digital illustrations. Good texture.

The one thing that's different about this book that's really good is that it counts forward AND BACKWARD from 1-10.
