I thought this over all was a great series of books. My son read them and wanted me to read them because he enjoyed them so much. I enjoyed them a lot as well. If you are a fan of the Percy Jackson books by Rick Riordan or a fan of the Harry Potter books, then you should check out The Forgotten Worlds series, as well.
I gave P.J. five stars, because I love her writing. All of her books have left me totally satisfied. She speaks to the middle graders. She doesn't speak DOWN to them. Maybe that's why her career is doing so well.

Loved it! I was 100% wrong in all of my speculations, but I'm not at all bothered-- the tension was great and the ending was perfect.

I only wish there were more books in this series. I hate to see the end of the adventures of Benjamin and his friends.
