Nice story. Meg arrives at her new job only to discover the Counte di Castelfino has died and his son is the new count. Meg is there to help the old count with his tropical plants and gardens and help him realise his dreams but Gianni has no interest and wants out with the old and in with the new. Meg really is an english rose and her warm ways help change Gianni for the better.

I liked Meg's career choice, it's not often you have a plant curator as a character and I think the setting worked perf

I didn't really care for this novel. I found the hero to be a depraved asshole sometimes to be honest. He was so stuck in the past and what happened with his parents relationship that he couldn't work on the present and hurt a great girl, our heroine, in the process. It was sad and even the ending of the novel was a bit bittersweet to me as well.

Couldn't even finish this one. I can usually do these in about 3 hours. After 6 days, I was still barely at page 100. I just couldn't get into it.

I've been reading and writing all my life, and January 2007 saw the paperback publication of my first Mills and Boon Modern Romance, The Italian Billionaire's Virgin. I really hope you enjoy my books!

I love romance, and meeting my husband on a blind date was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. We live in Gloucestershire, England, with our son, daughter, varying numbers of livestoc
