A story told in a different way, this shows the development of Mac's and Evan's relationship in a series of short memories as Mac remembers a year of encounters.

I really liked both characters. Mac is an actor who doesn't really know why he's been sent for a pedicure. Evan is the owner of a spa who introduces Mac to the delights of being pampered. As they discover each other's kinks, the treatments always play a central role. A very fun read!

Evan’s Heaven has a cute premise and will appeal to those wanting flirty, fun sex and nothing but. While EH has some good points, what totally kills the story for me is that it’s entirely one sex scene after another. At just over 100 pages, I fatigued on the non-stop sex halfway through and had to put down the book. I wouldn’t have picked it up again if I didn’t have it for review sadly. It’s not bad per se, it’s just sex, sex, and more sex with little to no characterization and no attempt at an ...more

This book is a bit different compared to other books. It revolves around Mac who's away from Evan, his lover, because of a movie he's filming. It's their one year anniversary and since Mac and Evan can't celebrate together, Evan sends Mac a package full of fond memories they've shared together and as Mac is taking things out of the package, he reminisces the memory attached to each item. So, yes, that means there are flashbacks.

I couldn't really get into the book, though. It didn't much work for

Mac is an actor filming on location on a tropical island. Due to weather delays he's unable to get back home and so can't be with his lover, Evan, on their first anniversary. When he receives a basket from Evan he's delighted to find it's filled with things that bring back good memories of their time together.

From their first meeting when Mac's movie director sends him to Evan's spa for a pedicure to the present time, the memories of their times together are sexy, fun and often sweet too. As he

This story is really cute. I did find it jumpy a little bit, but that's only because my reading preference is one tense, not going from past to future and back again, but Nicki did it really well and I could follow the story flow easily.

A fun M/M romance story. The telling of the story, memories chronicling a events in a relationship triggered by gifts in a first anniversary present was creative.

Growing up in Chicago, Nicki Bennett spent every Saturday at the central library, losing herself in the world of books. A voracious reader, she eventually found it difficult to find enough of the kind of stories she liked to read and decided to start writing them herself.
