I am enjoying this read. I am going to sound sexist, but it is almost striking me as a guy read! Basically a story of a warden accused of going bad chasing an escaped convict. I am looking forward to the author's next books which appear to be more written for a female audience.

This fast-paced thriller is about the warden of a New York state prison framed for the escape of a convicted cop-killer. Particularly effective were flashbacks to an earlier time during the Attica prison riots. Very well written, this compelling story was hard to put down.

The two books by Vince Zandri that I read were his first two titles. They fall in the you can't injure the hero badly enough because he's invincible genre.
