I'm sorry to say this book disappointed me. I don't buy books regularly, so this, along with several others, was a special purchase. I grumble at my wasted money.

I really enjoy regularly reading the author's blog by the same name. I don't have children, but I always enjoy good writing and funny stories, no matter what the subject.

This book was just a conglomeration of her past blog entries. I only laughed out loud once; not really worth the cost, in my opinion. Maybe if I More...

I love http://damomma.com, but I missed the early years, so I purchased this to catch up. I'm glad I did as it has Elizabeth's wonderful perceptiveness and sense of humor. You can tell that her writing has matured a lot over the years as these stories are not as polished as her most recent blog entries. Still, I enjoyed the stories and the writing. : )

I read the blog this book is taken from, and the book is a funny, sweet and real look at someone raising their first daughter and basically being honest with the world about what it's like - sleeping issues, trying to juggle life and a child without dropping anything...a really enjoyable read.

I laughed so hard! And that made me cry. Trent kept asking what I was laughing/crying about - all at the same time. I told him it was because I was reading about myself in a 'round about way. About a mommy at least. I can relate.

very funny. The author was a very distinguished intellectual before having her baby girl Mary, after which she started a blog about day to day life with this little toddler. She writes of barf, barbies, and lots of coffee!!

I enjoyed this book a lot...probably because it reminds me so much of my own life, except that I have three crazy kids running around the house instead of just one. Thank you Paula, for the very fun read.

I read this before it reached book form-as a blog, damomma.com.

Really funny, touching stories about being a mom.
