An in-depth study of the relatively short-lived speedway experience at Fleetwood with initially the Fleetwood Flyers and in the final year the Fleetwood Knights.

The history is well researched and is augmented by reminiscences of many of the riders who took part. Perhaps surprisingly the two promoters of the sport in the town ended up in jail for fraud, gaining thousands of pounds, apparently, from their unsuspecting investors.
