Recommends it for: those who like creepy heroes
I dragged myself through this book last night. Finished it up in two sittings. I know Harlequin Presents are very "not every-day life" but this story was completely out there and I wonder what was going through the author's head as she wrote this story. The intimate scenes were delicious, but that's all it had going for it. The first half was very slow until they came together. The second half and the way it all fell in place at the end was just very bizarre. The hero borderlines being shoved on ...more
All I really want to say about this book is that it's stupidly written. The characters and plot was not developed with skill. I have way too many TBR to waste my time on this anymore. Goodbye to you Mr. Cut off shorts wearing Arab King!
I think I am officially done with this author. This was just not well written or believable at all even within the far out realm of the HP world.
This book is more like a 2.5*. It was a bit confusing to begin with. Then within a few hours we have total strangers having hot sex. That is so unbelievable to me ...even for a HQ romance. They don't even know each others real name.

I liked the story twist about who her mother was. It also made the story more interesting once she realized who "he" was..... The SHEIKH of Sinnebar. I liked how Susan Stephen's describes a scene....I could visualize that old crumbling fort he took her to....

Was an enjoyable light read with an entertaining storyline.

This book is very disjointed.
Parts were confusing and for me unbelievable. I had a very hard time connecting with the characters in this one. I did like the story behind the heroines mother. Just an ok read for me.

Susan Stephens was a professional singer before meeting her husband on the tiny Mediterranean island of Malta.

In true romance style they met on Monday, became engaged on Friday and were married three months later. They are still very much in love, though Susan does not advise her three children to return home with a similar story as she may not take the news with the same fortitude as her own moth
