FIRE AND ICE
Andi Radcliffe is a wedding planner. She’s responsible, sensible and organized but in the face of a fire and then possibly freezing to death she decides to be impulsive and take a chance with the sexy firefighter who came to the rescue. She’s the type of girl of takes care of others first and puts herself last.

Jared Stone is a firefighter. He’s a widower, guilt-ridden and still very much in love with his late wife. But when he meets Andi he starts to realize that sometimes opening up

SEX ON THE SLOPES is an intriguing, well-written anthology by Susan Lyons that is set around a vacation wedding in Whistler, British Columbia. Not only do the bride and groom find love, but so do several of the wedding participants.

Fire and Ice is the first story in the anthology. Fire and Ice focuses on Andi, the couple’s wedding planner. When one of the guests at the ski lodge where the wedding takes place falls asleep smoking, the lodge catches fire. As the fire sets off the smoke alarms, And

This is a collection of three related stories about romances that take place in the ski resort town of Whistler during the week before a wedding. The first story is about the wedding planner and a firefighter after they meet when the B&B catches fire. The second is about a friend of the groom (Brianna - a workaholic) and a sexy, laid-back Aussie ski instructor. The third was about the younger sister of the groom and his bad boy childhood friend. All three were good stories, but nothing ...more

This was a definite three-star anthology when the last short story, a bad boy best friend/younger sister theme, my personal favorite, bumped it up a full star. Ideally, the last story would have been full-length, and this would have been a really great book. The first story about a wedding planner and a widower was pretty good, but the middle story about a TV personality and an Aussie ski instructor was totally forgettable. These are the good and bad things about anthologies.
